sorry for making a new thread for this, but i couldn't find a good place to ask it. so i'm looking to buy a random old tube TV for gaming. what would be the largest size TV that isn't too heavy to lug around to tournaments? has anyone gotten annoyed from playing on TVs at tournaments that are TOO small?

I've heard at some tournaments you only get the reduced venue fee if you bring a t.v. that is larger then 13''. So that might be the guidline on too small.

Don't worry, it's not the size that counts. It's how you use it.

I've seen like 10-12 inch TVs xD

But its portable and light and tbh I don't mind playing singles on it but, **** teams on a small TV.

I have a 32" actually Chibo, its big as hell though, I NEED someone else to help me move it, fux bringing that to tourneys xD

As stated above, I think any TV at least 13" would be good. Just as long you don't have a ******** TV that doesn't show parts of the sides, I have seen TV where it covers up the bottom half of your percent, its ******** xD

The TV's we had at the last tournament I attended were roughly 19" which was a good size and definitely can be transported by a single person.

19-20" TVs are the "standard"

13" are often used but complained about

27"+ are appreciated but are generally a pain to carry and fit in a car

It's not the size of the barrel but the power of the shot.

Anways, I've seen cheap LCD monitors that should be used as computer screen but can be used as TV's. They're extremely light and 32''. They a little pricey but I mean I can't remember but I saw one at a Staples for like 600$. I think it's a great deal.

Buy a 20'' or so HDTV (around $200) and you will never worry about the weight. :)

lol i was joking, TVs that big are awful for carrying and such.

I believe all of my tournament TVs I have are 17"

yeah, just worry about the lag instead
There are settings on HDTVs that reduce/remove lag. Not exactly calibration, but it allows inputs to be read faster.

A 17" - 20" flatscreen would be a good size and wieght for carrying around and playing.

I have one with a plastic handle built on lol.
