I went recently to a tournament on Chile, and we got the final rounds recorded. It is my first time i get videos of me playing on youtube, so I would appreciate if you could comment on them plz xD. I was very nervious and killed myself sometimes, so dont be so harsh on that part xD. Also I missed a lot of >B, i couldn't time them well in that moment :S. Well, hope you like them.

All fights were me(Marth) against Kreator(C.Falcon)

Althoug that C.Falcon may not be so "fast moving" like, he has high accuracy and good timing on the knees, he prefers not to be so good looking at playing.

good matches. your marth looks good.
few tips though...
i think you should focus more on getting falcon outside off the stage. for example, instead of uthrowing him (which hardly leads to combos on him unless he doesnt di) its often better to throw him forward or backwards off the stage or to tech chase him.
also, sometimes you became quite reckless and didn't pay attention to your spacing. at those times he was able to really hurt you until you kind of refocused yourself.
you should also use wavedash to edgehog. it seemed like you were very limited because you couldnt reach the edge fast enough with just a shff.
lastly, it looked like you were DI'ing towards him most of the time, which makes it easier to combo for falcon.

I must say you have a very good Marth.

With Falcon, you want to always keep him at a sword's length away with fair; occasionaly you would nair defensively a couple of times in a row and got punished with a knee due to its smaller range and disjointed hitbox. Also, almost everytime you teched off the ground you would roll towards him which became predictable and punishable.

thx n_n

mmm, i get sometimes too repetitive :p, and i tried to throw him off the stage, but he knew that so he used DI to hang to the edge. I recently discovered that Dthrow gets your oponent far than the Bthrow (in backwards direction). :p

Im scared of edgehogging with Wavedash, i prefered not to risk myself, beacuse it was the finals, but i understand.
thx

Your Marth is very good, but one thing you need to work on is edgeguarding; instead of just staying on the stage after you use DTilt, you can wavedash to the edge like Vall3y suggested. A less risky way (which I prefer) is to use DTilt, then dash in the opposite direction asap and then wavedash backwards to the edge. If you screw up the wavedash and airdodge instead, you'll still grab onto the edge. From there you can either edgehog, edgehop BAir, or edgehop DAir to spike them.

One last thing: it's personal preference, but there were some times where you could've used Marth's up+B to try and kill your opponent at close range. If you miss, however, you can leave yourself wide open.

good marth, change up the gameplay a bit during matches, cause u got obvious, and he used forward b and got u with it in between ur swipes.

just watched round 2, and u used bthrow when ur right on the edge with him, ur suppose to dthrow cause it throws him more farther.

thx, im not really good at edgeguarding ^^u
I really didn't used the D-Throw, but know I do, i fixed that n_n.

Reverse Dolphin Slash is quite risky, i wouldn't use it in the Finals of a tourny, think that he was a Falcon, and he could punish me with a knee, but I saw the other day a friend use it against a fox and worked, but I still find it risky, I'll try to use it on plataforms where it's less risky.

thx all for the comments n_n
