For as long as I can remember, playing smash against cpu's can be frustratingly easy and I am tired of fighting 3 handicapped lvl 9s for a challange. But then I remembered Brawl is next gen. Do you think Nintendo will greatly improve on AI for cpu's in Brawl or will it be a letdown in difficulty again?

I sure hope they will. I'm not sure though since it seems they're trying to make it more user friendly, with the slower pace and all. AI might just stay relatively the same.

I'm sure 90% of the users on the site will tell you this, but CPU's are never going to be even close to as fun--or difficult--as playing with friends. "Super Smash Bros is one of the greatest reasons to have friends." ~Snafu-Dave

Well the only friend I have that is really good at smash is a little easy. I guess that will change when I go online with brawl. Still, single player modes suffer after a while due to their ease. I found event mode to be the most exciting part of single player melee, then again most of these events are a little too simple even if you are new to the game.

itd be nice if the ai learned off of your movies. Maybe was able to copy the way you play. That would add up for some really good traing.

If you don't have anyone to fight against, don't play lvl 9s. Makes you much worse, fight level 1s.

I do hope they improve AI in some way.

All of my friends suck at Smash, and I don't know how to do things online. I've never done it before. I'm a TV gamer.

I never really liked playing against three LV9s. It'd be better if they weren't always swarming you even when they aren't on a team. Seriously, they all just home in on the human player, annoy the crap out of you by using a bunch of weak moves with their evil robot reflexes, and then a bomb appears beside you and you all blow up. Stupid computers.

But yeah, it's not like it'll matter anymore. Thank god for the miracle of free online Wii.

It is free, right?

true sometimes i like acting out stories by playing against eary character on times 9 handy. (i also play against three of the same until i beat them all then i mix them up) but its still to easy. I cant wait for the onlie portion also. i really would love to play some of you cause im the best in the state of AL and ive yet to be beat. (But once by a pal who tossed a electrode at me. TT_TT)

im not sheltered. there just stories like. ( i like link) say .... hes in a dark tournament and he must battle through everyone and act out roles like marios evil and hes the 5th boss. and in the end link must battle GIGA Bowser on level nine on 6 times his size. ( i use mods when playing for fun). but im not sheltered. i have a life. like i have a job and im trying to find a girlfriend.
