Definitely still donate and don't give up! Getting surpassed by a game that was only at a few hundred in a matter of hours can be a bit soul-crushing, but that's exactly what they want to make it easier for them. It's like what we did to Skullgirls, or what Ponies did to everyone at first, and both us and Skullgirls kept fighting.

Sure, they're richer since they're older and working, etc, and they have a ton of money on reserve ready to go if they need it, but we have superior numbers, we have our spirit bomb ready to fire, and all we have to do is be ahead of them at the end of tomorrow night, even if they could potentially donate tons and tons more. If we're fortunate, we could sneak in just enough right at the end! Or maybe that won't be necessary and we'll just demolish them tomorrow night! :D

You could go with the wise words of Peppy: "Never give up! Trust your instincts!"

To be honest, I still think we have the best odds of winning. We are essentially tied with ST, but our final day fundraiser is no doubt a lot better prepared than whatever they have left. Our 5k lead on Skullgirls gives us a pretty good edge on them as well. If ST does have some super secret funds left for the final day, so be it. But lets not let them bluff us down, if we lose, we go down fighting.

Yeah, I'm sure that a massive reason the ST donations were put in the way they were is to demoralize both melee and SG players.

I think if they continue to donate at the rate they have that they'll win, but that doesn't mean we can't go down fighting.

What do you mean by that? Since last night when they passed us, we've been donating at a much faster rate. We took our lead back and currently lead by 1.5k.

Yeah that's true, it's just up until now they've been donating in increments of what, 5k-10k a pop? I just feel like if they keep that plan up, we can expect to see another massive boost near the end of the contest tonight. Let's try to get above a 10k gap with them so that they won't win even with those boosts.

That 25k or so they donated was probably money gathered and sat on until yesterday. It was most likely an intimidation tactic. If they had another 20k or so, it would have made more sense to snipe us tonight to catch us off guard instead of warning us. If they have any reserves left, I wouldn't expect it to be more than 10k.

I don't know.... I'm just feeling a little paranoid (not that it's going to stop me from my support for melee of course). I mean if it were me, I wouldn't donate until I matched melee or SG just so I could get sniped. I'd only do it if I were confident I could go all the way and win.

Then again it doesn't look like ST has any sort of organization in the community or stream or etc. planned, so I'm betting it's just one or a few guys.... I guess I'll just be tuned into the stream, since it'll be some epic fun.... I just won't be surprised if they put in another ludicrous amount :(.

I think sf has been saving the money that they just put in for a while. Also if you are donating ypu should wait til about 1130 or so that way we will know where sf and sg stand
