Before you start flaming, consider this situation.

You're playing rock, paper, scissors with person A. After about 5 rounds, you noticed that the other player only plays rocks.

If you decided to throw out paper whenever you play against that player, should you be hated against for simply figuring out the way to win?

Now lets look back at melee, in the past 2 years, jigglypuff's metagame has improved dramatically because of Mango and Hungrybox. Hungry box in particular; has been targeted for his playing style, often called as "gay" and "cheap". As of now, it seems that a huge part of the community thinks that Jiggs should be banned because this tactic is too easy to pull off.

If this tactic really is as easy as throwing paper instead of scissor, then why doesn't anyone in the community copy this tactic and insure a second place in every tournament that they attend?

The fact is, this tactic isn't something that can just easily be copied and implemented. Hungrybox is an amazing player that uses Jigg's bair as a way to pressure his opponent into making mistakes. Hungrybox is a passive-aggressive player, meaning that when he approach, he throws out attacks to make the opponent feel pressured, not to get hits in. This tactics requires a lot of patience and mind games to pull off, it's not something that can be replicated right off the bat.

In the RPS case, player A has 2 options. One is to complain about how cheap papers are, the second is to figure out that scissors exist.

The melee community as a whole has become very lazy lately. When something doesn't work, most players believe that the problems can be solved with more advanced tech skills or faster execution. This no different from thinking about how to throw out your rock harder and faster. If a tactics you use don't work, it's time time figure out a new way to win.

It feels like a majority of the community forgot about how Mango consistently beat Hungrybox in every set that they play in. Even in the match in Pound 4 GF, Mango copied Hungrybox's tactics and still dominated Hungrybox with it.

It is clear that Mango has learned how to beat Hungrybox a long time ago, and has attempted to show the community how to do so multiple times with multiple characters. This is the reason why Mango didn't simply choose Jiggs to fight Hungrybox to ensure a win. Mango wants the community to learn how to beat Hungrybox on their own, with some help.

The community should be figuring out why Mango can consistently beat Hungrybox, not complaining about how Jiggs should be banned. Or you are really no different from a ******** kid that complains about how you can't ever win in a game of RPS and that everyone is cheap.

@Hungrybox-
You are an amazing player, don't let the haters get to you. Good **** for forcing the metagame to advance, and forcing players to stop relying solely on tech skills.

tl;dr: Learn now to read scrub.

Guys, if you put out rock faster, you can actually win. There's a type of RPS that some people play in Korea (you kinda just declare it while you say "rock, paper, scissor" in Korean) that, if the other person doesn't put out anything, then they lose. SO MORE TECHSKILL AND FASTER EXECUTION WILL WORK, GUYS.
