tips for powershielding falcos

i need some help with power shielding. any tips anyone can giv me as far as the timing. i cant get it. and can you powershield with the light shield?? appreciate the help.

You have to face a load of foxes 'n' falco's to get sharp reflexes. I don't reccomend playing at a lower speed. Practise, practise and practise.

Power shielding is hard, just get a partner to train with you, it's kind of the only way.

Make sure to fully click which ever button you guard with it will only powershield with a full click for some reason.

Like the others said, it just takes time to master it, so just keep trying and practicing it. Also, you cannot powershield with light shield. You must click the shoulder button all the way down in order to powershield.

Just face a lvl 9 falco on FD if you have no one to practice against. Keep your distance from him and powershield when he fires lasers. Pretty simple.

That can work as well, just play on FD and just keep going to the opposite side as him.

i just practice by myself, after all you only need 2 fingers, on to hit B and one to hit shield.
you should try it in a slower speed and zoomed in slightly, just so you can see at which point the projectile is powershieldable

The easiest way I powershield is to run into lasers and shield right when its about to hit me.

If you have action replay go into debug menu and set a level 9 falco on defensive. They will just run away and shoot lasers. This is gg powershield practice.
