Tips for JC shining?

Does anyone have any tips on how to quickly shine on the ground (JCing) such as finger positions? Or is it just one of those things that you need pure godly fingers for?
BTW Silent Wolf is one of the only people I have seen that has used this skill correctly in an actual fight.

the shine in perspective

It takes 4 frames (a frame is 1/60 of a second) for Fox to get off the ground. So you have to hit the shine in less than 4 frames in order to stay on the ground. And since you only can cancel the shine after the third frame, you have 1 frame to do the double shine. It has to be perfect


The best would be to alternate from B , Y , B and so on
but start of slow and gradually speed it up

The key to sustaining this infinite for some significant periods of time is to get the feel of the rhythm for jump-
canceling the shine into another shine, and so on.

Meh, I can do more than that. Totally pointless.

What's not pointless is shining from dash via JC shines, or shining from shield.

You need to watch how it helps Shiz in his battles. Even learning to do 1 JCshine out of your intial shine can help beat grabs and improve your shield pressure game.

The technique i use to JC shines is to press Y, (I only press the side of the Y button closest to B, but i press it hard enough to still pick up on the press consitently) hard with the joint part of my thumb, and while sustaining a large amount of pressure, i slide (without losing contact with the controller) my thumb down to B, then i lift my thumb back up to Y and press the side of the Y button strongly again, and then repeating.

Hit B, lift your thumb up then move it to Y. Slide on Y to B. Lift and bring over to Y. Repeat.
