Translating the ancient texts in the library is a lot of fun. I don't care if I can easily look them up. I haven't played Revelation yet, so I imagine a lot of this is foreshadowing.

On a different, still Fates related topic, I love outlaws and adventurers. I've wanted a bow and staff class ever since Awakening was released, but I could never think of a cool class that would have both. The adventurer class is just so cool! What are everyone's favorite new classes?

Tonight has been a great night! I finished chapter 17 of Birthright. Jakob's cooking certainly helped out! Though I wish it didn't end abruptly.

Still, I got a gold ball for my efforts!

I haven't tried out all of the new classes yet, but I'm really liking the Butler/Maid class, Spear Master class, and Ninjas.

The Majora's Mask one, right? Or was it the other one? If it were up to me, I would go with the MM one, mainly because I like MM, I think it's cool looking, and I'm a sucker for metallic colors.

I'd go with the Zelda one based on the notion of "I'm a Zelda fan." If you really DO like the Fates one though, go for it.

Also, thought I'd just throw out my first impressions on Pokkén. Overall, this game is pretty damn sweet! The roster, while a tad small, is bursting with variety and personality. Graphically it's one of the most gorgeous games on Wii U. The gameplay is a ton of fun, and also very different from a lot of other fighting games, which makes it a nice change of pace and sets it apart from the competition. Online is solid, I only had one really laggy match (it was BAAAAAD tho) and one annoying Braixen spammer. Other than that, my only major gripe so far is that the story mode, Ferrum League, is pretty grindy and a bit light on actual story (though I only just got through the Green League). I know many don't care that much about single player and story modes in fighting games, but I still think it's worth noting. Oh yeah, and character customization is amazing!

As for who I've been playing, I've put in some work with Sceptile, who I was fully planning to main, but I'm sort of leaning more towards Garchomp now. His playstyle is just really cool and fun to me. But I still have plenty of other characters to test and try out as well, so nothing's set in stone yet.

exciteeeed...sadly it's release coincides with my exams, but it also coincides with some long plane trips after that, so it's not all too bad.

Anyway, here's a Corrin for myself that I whipped up pretty quickly. I think she's cute, but her small size (6 inches) made it very difficult to render the details of her outfit accurately. add to that the fact that it was for myself, which made me less willing to spend money on her :v

I'm starting work on 2 Corrin commissions now, I'm pretty certain they'll be much better than this one since they'll be full size and I now know where to improve from my experience with this one! I'll be sure to post them here (especially cos one of them is a super cute custom Corrin for @Raziek )


also, idk if anyone here plays Starlight Stage/Deresute, but I managed to pull the Syoko SSR on my first try!!!!! AAAAAH MY METAL BABY CAME HOME

Seems like I'm running into the same problem with Birthright that I originally did with Awakening. I've been trying to do the child paralogues, and I just hit a wall with them where it feels like I'm not making any actual progress. Doesn't help that the enemies in them scale based on how far you are in the game, and they're always a couple levels above the enemies in your next story chapter!

Jesus Christ, this is amazing! it's actually so much better than the official localization of the song...the instrumental changes are great of course, but honestly if real translated version had these lyrics and this vocalist I'd like it so much better. Think I'll just listen to this instead of the real one :V

Yesterday I bought Pokkén and oh my god, is even funnier than I thought!

Now I'm enjoying mainly the single player, I want to unlock some things and become better with Sceptile before taking the online seriously, but if someone is interested I can gladly play some battles, so let me know!

I am hoping that they do add new characters to pokken since the CSS looks off with 4 free spaces.

I really hope they add 4 new character to fill those spaces, not only for fixing the bad look the CSS has, but also because there isn't any Rock, Bug or Normal type Pokémon in the game and that's not fair.
If I have to pick one per missing type I'll probably choose Tyranitar, Scizor and Lopunny, then for the fourth Pokémon I will add Aegislash because is the best.

Kabutops and Diancie are both cool Pokémon and have them in the game will be nice.
Also, I'm still surprised Greninja isn't in the game yet since all the "Smash Pokémon" are in (excluding Jigglypuff for obvious reasons).
