Congrats to Dath for getting 2nd. That last match was especially fun, for obvious reasons.

The Round Robin was hilarious, kudos to those guys for playing along. Clearly the year 20FE is upon us. :b Good to see Raz yelling at Dath in the chat for his blasphemous game 1 Yoshi pick too. XD

I'm ready, too. The ring is clear, the oil is on, and the stakes have been set.

Let us begin.

I unfortunately don't know what to tell you about your uploading troubles, but.....

goddamn the Metroid Prime triology is so good

That's really making me wanna play one of them again. Love the slightly creepy atmosphere some of the places have, and I find Space Pirate stuff interesting, and am particularly fond of reading their logs, so I love Phazon Mines. The 2nd one's my favorite actually (despite the lesser Space Pirate presence), but the mother ****ing Spider Ball Guardian prevents me from re-playing that one. But **** all three of them are so good. Nintendo plz make moar Metroid Prime-esque stuff.
I think the lore is one of the cooler features of the Prime series. The game didn't waste time with storytelling; you could choose when you wanted to know the whole story behind things, assuming you were pretty diligent with using the Scan Visor.

All of them are exceptional games, but overall the first is my favorite.

If you ask me, the Boost Guardian is more annoying than the Spider Guardian. I remember taking on the Boost Guardian for the first time in Hard Mode. Got wrecked the first few times. No safe zones, no efficient methods of healing, and the boss has an unpredictable attack pattern which makes your dodging efforts a crapshoot. Spider Guardian just requires precision with the bomb jumps.

@XenoBrawler610 @Koiba

It's a very slow day...
That's just gross.

On the GCN it was my first love. Maybe in all of gaming at that.

Retro Studios really proved their worth with the Prime series. I think they should get back into developing Metroid games again.

Hey; I genuinely like Ilyana as a unit in Path of Radiance. Not so hot in Radiant Dawn due to accuracy issues, but if you nab those Bolting tomes with Heather early on and you're in for some fun. :yeahboi:
I'd say her bigger problem is moreso speed than accuracy...30 speed as a tier 3 unit is no good, having 45 hp is also not great.

So I finished Kekkai Sensen... I already want a second season. *headdesk*

The wait for the end did not disappoint. Double length series finales are so rare in anime...
(Ending spoiler follows)
I wish White didn't have to go... She was so nice, and she would have been perfect for Leo. :'(

Still, dat restaurant hazing...

We had someone that ran Haar avatars before. Was it AirshBornely AirshBornely ?

Anyway, Haar is like a truck with wings. Good unit.
I remember making Haar go after archers with zero fear in RD. He's that good.

And yes, he was my first avatar, actually.

A couple of the big things I would say is work on mixing up your recovery. I was able to start picking up on when you'd be using you second jump and punish you for it. Try to work on using your second jump more efficiently when you're off stage. Often times you'd either use it really early and I could react to it, or you'd jump way over the ledge and I could punish it then.

You also seemed to use some unsafe moves like doing Arcfires up close or Air Slash a lot. Might want to try working on figuring out what moves to use in what situations, but that's something that takes a bit of time and practice. Another thing I'd note to work on is your offstage game. You did good in going off stage to try to gimp me, but I felt that could be touched up on.

A couple little tips for general use. While I didn't see you have all of these issues, it's just a few things to keep in mind:
-Try not to air dodge so much
-(If your character can) Don't forget about walljumps, those will really help your recovery
-Don't rely too much on your shield. There were a lot of times I got you with either Nosferatu or the Falcon Dive just because I saw you shielding
-Mixup your options for when you're getting up on the ledge.
-Always try to be on the move or be attacking. Doing just about anything will create pressure for the opponent so try to keep active.

Other then that I'm not too sure what else to say other then keep training and working on your stuff.

I tend to like the lore in games a lot too.

Yeah, Boost Ball Guardian's not a great fight either. That one's more doable for me than the Spider Ball Guardian cuz I can't really do fast+precise, plus if you die you have to walk a fair ways to get back to the boss from the last save point ;-;
