Finally forced myself to play codename steam again, two things
one: :foxmelee: plus Randolph Carter is an instakill set up with enough damage to kill most characters three times over
two: The chapter you get the tin man is a great representation of just about every problem with the game

I rarely visit the Smash 4 social anymore, especially since the quality of posts have been on the decline for a while now (like all the spam and such as you said). I honestly prefer how things were pre-Smash 4. Yeah we had ****storms and bad posters now and then, but at least there were higher quality than spammy +1 posts lol.

Once the thread re-opens, I think I'm going to visit it now and then to pump out some quality posts. Hopefully to help keep things afloat, y'know.

I found this beauty on Tumblr, along with @ The Merc The Merc 's current avatar. It looked absolutely stunning, so I had to make it my new avatar. My love for precious Velor grows even more because of it. <3

I understand. I've read a few pages of pre-Smash 4 stuff and the behavior was a lot better. The change in users has made the new ones (threads) look like circuses full of clowns, and as I said, it's been like this ever since 6.0 was made. People just don't listen.
Even if the 24 hours have passed, I can't help but doubt that it will change. If it doesn't, well, goodbye S4S.

Right now, I'm trying to focus on the Pikachu boards and nothing more. As it stands, the Smash 4 Social has been nothing but a distraction, being used to ****post and leave for the day. But hey, you guys are chill; I might as well relax in this thread.

We'll see what happens with the social. I do believe the Smash 4 community deserves one and there's a lot of great people out there. But hopefully we could all pull through and improve. Or else things might turn out ugly. I'm not sure if I'm a fool for being optimistic about this haha.

I think it's good to keep character threads active and encourage discussion, even if it's just posting in socials. Keeps interest level high. I usually focus on the Roy boards, and I pop in other character socials here and there just cuz. Speaking of which, I have a Roy to-do list I should get cracking on, but I've been too lazy lately. >.> Well, time get to work I guess...

Oh one thing... is it just me or has the text font changed? I must be going crazy then. Wow my eyes are bleeding, though the white layout makes things easier for me. So weird lol.

So I just finished watching stein's;Gate. What a stellar and focused anime. While I don't think the time and parallel world aspects are perfectly handled it's much better than others (lol Bioshock Infinite). But those characters, that cast is one of the best period. Pretty much everyone named gets depth to their character. They all have motivations, desires, and fates, they all deal with loss albeit differently. They're all so like able and the humor is subtle when it needs to be and is spot on. It is heartwarming in one moment and heart wrenching the next (Kinda like an FE narrative in a way) The dialogue is so natural and superbly written. And the whole thing takes place in Akihabara alone. No need for Grand Scale beyond that single area. The aesthetic reminds me of Bakemonogatari with the emphasis on whites outside and feels surreal, though it's a bit too shiny for my liking at times. I love that there's no intro sequence, only a recap of relevant events to the episode. Great pacing, good aesthetic, amazing cast, great suspense, wonderful dialogue and a challenging to write premise better executed than most.

No lol it's okay to be optimistic about it. I've been there yesterday and people think I want it to be locked permanently. I would only want it to be locked permanently if people don't change there.

I think it has but I never noticed.

Today, I've had a run-in with two Smogon haters on DeviantArt. Dear Lord, I had fun just proving their misconceptions wrong. In the end though, they just blocked me and hid my comments so they wouldn't look like idiots. It really pains me as someone who loves playing Smogon that people hate on it because it's a popular rule set.

My biggest issue is that I have difficulty with reads.

My brother can, to paraphrase an opponent of his, "read me like a ****ing children's book".

Too often I get gung-ho and decide to rush in for the kill.

I play at a micro level when I should focus just as much on the macro level.
