IMO, Ftilt's for racking up damage, Utilt's for saving till a good 90% ish percent and killing with.

yah, ftilt does 21 fresh, so that's your damage doer. Utilt's generally the killer.
Although, if you have a high amount of damage, and your opponent just died, once his invincibility frames are gone, spamming utilts great for racking up damage, and when he does eventually kill you, the move refreshes.

It kills Toon Link with no DI at 100% if I'm not mistaken.
