The Tilted Kilt in Joliet will be hosting its first Official Super Smash Bros Tournament! No venue fee or tournament fee! It will be a singles only tournament, sorry to all the doubles players out there! There will be no outside food or drink allowed as we are still a restaurant. Our kitchen and bar will be open for the majority of the tournament (must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol.)
We have 4 HD TV's that we will be using for the tourney, and a 150 inch projector that will show the bracket. We will be using our bracket through www.Challonge.com.

Other Rules
  • Absolutely NO outside food or drink is allowed.
  • Please bring setups (Wii U + Smash 4 + GameCube Adapter), they help with running the tournament efficiently and successfully.
  • If you cannot make it, it will be your responsibility to contact us. We can only allow so many late entrants and for only so much time. You can contact us at 815-254-5800 or go to our Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/tiltedkiltjoliet/, and send us a message there.
Controllers
  • Allowed Controllers: GameCube Controller, 3DS, WiiMote, WiiMote + Attachement, Pro Controller*
  • Pro Controllers are allowed on the circumstance that the battery is removed. If the battery is not removed, that player will be susceptible to warnings, disqualifications, or worse if a system is being interfered with. If you do not remove the battery, let the TOs know so we can immediately contact you if there's an issue.
  • Gamepads are BANNED for tournament use. This is specifically because only one player can use them at a given time, so banning them prevents an issue of both players wanting to use Gamepad.
  • Bring your own controller, as controllers are NOT PROVIDED.

I know its a dead subject... but what about brawl? Ive been out of the smash scene a while even before sm4sh came out. If not, that's fine, i might still drop by since its sort of like brawl

No Melee? Would road trip up with friends ready to play with Melee.
Yeah, we only have the WiiU since one of our managers purchased it himself. However i will keep that in mind for the next tournament we do. Hopefully we can provide all generations of Smash Bro's games if this tournament goes well!
