Tilted Attacks?

I've noticed both Kirby's Ftilt and Fsmash can be angled three different ways (straight, up, and down). What should I be using this for?

Most people don't utilize the tilt directional attacks. Nor do I. There's really no advantage in using that--not that I know of. Perhaps if you practice it, it may prove useful.

well uilt. for aerial approaches, dtilt for edgegaurding and normal titl for basic attacking when they are in front.

So it's just a positional thing? They don't have different properties like Zamus'?

not that im aware of. but like i said, using ftilt angle up for someone coming infront of you with an aerial approach is better then just normal attacking them.

I think if you aim it up it will send them flying up and if you aim it down it will send them flying down. Not 100% sure about this though.

yeah, ive fsmashed at a downward angle to someone near the edge once and it sent them diagonally down, killing them rather well. I rarely remember to use it though.
