Thursday Night Doubles Tournament (3/12)

Due to its popularity, this will become a weekly tournament!

The tournament is this Thursday (3/12) at 8:00 pm EST.

Please feel free to use this thread to find a teammate if you don't have one!

Rules (IMPORTANT):
2 v 2 (You find your own teammate. Use this thread to find a partner if needed!)
3 stock, 8 minutes
Best 2 out of 3 (even finals)
Team attack ON
Customs ON (No equipment!)
EACH ROUND WILL BE DONE WITHIN 35 MINUTES (I AM GOING TO STRONGLY ENFORCE THIS)
Mii Characters ON (I have never seen anyone use them anyway)
DE bracket
You and your partner CAN play at the same Wii U
You can only be on one team! (And your Wii U can be used by only one team)

Starter Stages: (1-2-1 or Gentlemen's)
BF
FD
SV
T&C
Laylat

Counterpicks (Winner gets 2 bans, then loser picks)
DK 64
Skyloft
Duck Hunt
Castle Siege
Halberd

Whoa, sounds interesting. I might join. Really depends if I think I'm ready.

EDIT: That's it. I'm convinced to join. All I need is a partner (and probably a bit of freshening up my skills) and I'm good to go! So, is there anyone out there in need of a teammate?

Still haven't heard back from my partner. If I don't hear anything by this time tomorrow, we will team up!

Show up at about 7:15 pm at the chat and look for a partner there. There was three people looking last week and there might be someone else looking this week. It's worth a shot.

Hey guys i'm looking to break into the tournament scene and just had a question with the doubles. Am I able to have a LAN couch partner or does it only work with an online partner? Thanks :)

EDIT: Should probably read properly just saw that you can haha all good

Me and my bro are looking for a good online Double tourney. Hopefully, this one will deliver c: based on what I'm reading via comments, it looks really solid
