Alright, I know what it is, and how to do it/follow it up, so don't link me the thread. Kay, that saved me some typing. But I was wondering, this is only to Fox and Falcos right?

A rising Fox player is coming, and I don't like the fact that I suck at Fox dittos and this should help me out a bit. I suck against Falcos too, so it could help here as well. Anyway, I need tips on how to consistently get the perfect wavedash length after a drillshine or a nair->shine. The shine is JC'd fast enough, and I can do it from a dash, or a regular standing animation, but not from the forementioned moves. I was wondering if there's anything better than "just practice till your nipples erect", since I can't seem to do it too consistently. Maybe a 50% consistency, but I want the 100. So yeah, any tips would be appreciated.

It works on all people who fall from shine, though I'd recommend on other characters to just grab>uthrow>uair instead of falling uair etc after the jab.
All it is is perfect WDing after a very fast JC shine like you said, and if its still hard, then all you can really do is practice until you perfect it.

it works easier if you have momentum from a run, so you dont have to perfect WD..

As far as i know though, it works best on fox falco, but others that fall from the shine are a bit harder (ylink etc).

It depends on you controller really.

I have a worn out controller that does perfect WD's with ease...

while others cant even come close to doing them :\

Heh cool cuz for a while I practiced all my waveshining backwards .....from neutral right-facing and now perfect wavedashes going backwards are pretty friggin easy.....forwards from that neutral position is a little tougher......plus there's somewhat of a mental block doing it forward. Strange cuz it seems that most people have a harder time wavedashing back out of shine.....eh oh well...practice I suppose.

And if you do it at low damage thunders usually does an upsmash after the uair.

Yeah, I can always do it from a running shine, but not from an aerial. I can't seem to position the control stick for a perfect wavedash.

Im pretty sure you dont have to do a perfect wavedash, just a longer than usual one will do
now what i suggest if you really cant get it consitantly because you cant jump out of the shine and jab fast enough (the wavedash angle shouldnt be hard to master), then try JCing and wavedashing with the analog. if you can get used to the akward analog stuff, this should be pice of cake since you only have to move the thumb from the b to the a and thats after the wavedash. heck you can even try a different grip, which should help in the long run but will talk lots of time to get used to so i dunno.

Can someone tell me if its even possible to link two thunders combos or more:

Drill > Shine > WD > Jab > Shine > WD > Jab (repeat)

Ive been trying but im not fast enough and/or "perfect enough"

Might help if you get fox somehow slightly above you like with a nair so he wont land so fast

i think that should be possible.
but i think its better : drill -> waveshine -> jab -> nair(only at low perc.) ->waveshine ->jab etc..

edit: i just tried what you explained and it works pretty well.
after the jab you have so much time while he gets up i just walk towards the foe and waveshine -> jab again.
this only works till about 50% or something cause when you jab the foe then he gets up inmediatly after the jab with no lag

edit 2: i tried it some more on a falco on FD and the most i could do from begin till the end off the stage =

drill -> waveshine -> jab -> waveshine -> jab ->waveshine -> jab ->Uair

i think it looks pretty nice but all those extra waveshine -> jabs, hardly does any extra damage.
so i think its better to do the drill -> waveshine -> jab -> Uair inmediatly so you can continue the combo with a Usmash and then a grab or something

Lol, its jus funny looking.

Sorry to burst ur bubble too but I was talkin about the super thunder's combo. If it even relates, if you jab fast enough, fox stands back up and doesnt fall. Thunder's makes him fall and have to get up. Good find though zgetto. thanks, now I know Im not wasting my time

He doesn't stand up from a faster jab, it does that if hes higher than like 20 or so % and is holding up.
It is possible to link the shine>jabs. and it is possible to link two thunders combos. if done from 0% on a falco, you can dair>shine>jab>falling uair>usmash>dair>etc. but that wioll most likely be broken out of. XD
against anyone but falco and sometimes fox, you do have to perfect WD, or WD near perfect.

any further questions will be answered by me in the official thunders combo thread. i just stickied it. look there for further info for those who are asking what it is still.
