So this was the last team I created before the Platinum updates hit shoddybattle and for the most part it worked, I won a large majority of my matches with it. However with the addition of Platinum moves and such it has seen a decline in victory so I was hoping I could get some input on how to make it better.

Bronzong@Lum Berry
Relaxed/Heat Proof
252Hp/40Def/140SpAtk/76SpDef
-Earthquake
-Hypnosis
-Gyro Ball
-HP Electric

Many of you may have already seen this, but for those who haven't this is my Anti-Lead Bronzong. Its made specifically to counter suicide leads and then whichever fire type may be brought in to try and bring it down. I use an IV set of 31/31/31/30/31/3 which allows me to outspeed and hypnosis other Bronzong leads and the Lum Berry lets me take on faster leads like Yanmega and Gengar. The EV spread allows me to always survive 2 Life Orbed Fire Blasts from Azelf, a Nasty Plot Life Orbed Flamethrower from Infernape, 2 Fire Blasts from Scarftran and any and all forms of attack from Gyara(Barring EQ >_>) while subsequently being able to 2HKO all of them. This is not made to be a wall, it is made to be a surprise killer.

Forretress@Leftovers
Impish/Sturdy
252Hp/162Atk/96Def
-Earthquake
-Rapid Spin
-Stealth Rocks
-Explosion

Standard spinner/Stealth Rocker made all the better by the fact that Bronzong has this wonderful knack for removing its counters. Sets up Stealth Rocks than spins any that may have been brought in by a suicide lead. Explodes when necessary and makes a nice little physical wall.

Suicune@Leftovers
Modest/Pressure
252Hp/104SpAtk/152Spe
-Substitute
-Calm Mind
-Surf
-Ice Beam

SubCune. Has moderate surprise factor as most Suicune nowdays are defensively oriented with RestTalk and such. Provides a much needed Water resist as well as a ground neutrality and can take on that nasty Salamence that everyone seems to have. On a side note, I actually wanted HP Electric over Ice Beam but I couldn't because I would have to either drop my IV's way lower than I want them to be or change nature. I've been thinking of changing it to HP Grass so it can take on Swampert but that would leave it useless against Dragons.

Infernape@Life Orb
Naive/Blaze
24Atk/252SpAtk/232Spe
-Nasty Plot
-Close Combat
-Flamethrower
-Grass Knot/HP Ice

Ok, is it just me or did EVERYONE in the whole world forget about Mixape? This thing is a beast, tears down walls like no other, why does no one use it anymore? Oh well, its standard, not much to say, but I've been thinking of changing Grass Knot to HP Ice so I can kill Salamence on the switch.

Heatran@Choice Scarf
Hasty/Flash Fire
70Atk/252SpAtk/188 Spe
-Fire Blast
-Earth Power
-HP Ice
-Explosion

Obligatory Scarftran. I recently changed its EV spread to what you see there to outspeed Skymin by 2 points.

Lucario@Life Orb
Naive/Inner Focus
218Atk/252Spe/40SpAtk
-Close Combat
-Extreme Speed
-Stone Edge
-HP Ice

I always hated Lucario, he always just seemed sort of ******** to me, but I decided to swallow my pride and throw him on my team. Another Mixed Sweeper, this thing is a nasty surprise to Blissey/Snorlax should they think taking out Infernape made them safe. Again HP Ice is on there for the ever present Salamence with the 40 SpAtk EV's to guarantee a OHKO.

So this is my team. Before you say it, yes Im aware of the Earthquake weakness but Im usually smart enough to get around it. The most common EQ users are MixMence and Tyranitar these days which is why I have 2 Close Combat users and an Ice attack on over half my team.

there really isn't too much to work on, though I rarely look at common strategies. You definetly have done your damage calcs.

To deal with EQ, your best bet might be to change bronzong to levitate, though you probably have heatproof to deal with infernape and the like. You might also want a grass move somewhere to deal with swampert, the only other poke which is likely to EQ.

EV spreads aren't an issue at all

Oh wow I forgot about mixape too.....

Now I won't. Especially after seeing how weak you are to him. Consider Tentacruel over Suicune
