so i have a jumping problem that im trying to break but no matter how hard i try i just cant break it. anyway so now that you know that i can ask your my question, but in order for me to ask you it i have to give you an example.(for example purposes i am falco obvisously and im playing against a marth and were on fd)

so i double jumpe and he wd back if i do a down air to an lcancel he will just forward smash me and i get hit. if i just land and roll to the right he will chase after me and grab me. if i roll to the left he will run to the right then cc and forward smash me. if i spot dodge he will just wait for me to get out of it and ten grab me, and if i try to do a FJ triple lazer he will just run at me because he gets under my lazors and then jc grab me.

so my question is what sold i do so that i dont get hit or grabed when i accidentally do this against a person who reads that i have a jumping problem.

well, stop approaching with full hops i guess =\ but, if you get the dair off, l cancel it and try to get a quick shine out?

if you land, and roll to the left, you said he will chase you and fsmash? since you knwo the fsmash is coming why not try to avoid it? if your predicting all of this, try to just avoid those things :D i know what you mean though, marth is my worst match-up =\ but bleeh.. idk dude gl anyways

You should try not to double jump a dair as an approach, especially against Marth, because if he knocks you off the stage before you hit the ground you're dead for sure. The way I broke this habit was just go into versus, set time to infinite, and play a level 1 Marth. Just practice approaching with a dair off a full hop or short hop, mixing it up, just never double jump. I can't really help you with what to do after this would already happen in a match because I have no clue, I'm really horrible against Marth.

Basically, just practice breaking that habit.

Although, you could also change it up so you DO use a DJ. Come after him like you would do a full hop dair but shine instead right above him, JC it, and then go for a dair since he will have lag from his fsmash.

i have to agree with 3x in that you seem to know what is coming in all of these situations with plenty of detail, seemingly even enough to avoid a lot of it. it looks like the people you play can read you too well, so read them back. the double jump problem sounds like one that came to be due to a lot of playing computers or worse players maybe? if so, it should really break itself if you are playing more humans than comps. but you have it all analyzed really well, just try to predict what hes going to do. just an example but if you find yourself in the position where youve double jumped and are coming down, and hes wded back to fsmash you, if you see it coming you could try airdodging straight down so that the fsmash doesnt hit you but you connect the end of it to the ground so you dont have nasty falling lag. like se said, using your double jump and getting tagged by a marth smash is BAD news, you could be dead at 10%. and if all else fails, back off the approach for a while and spam lasers to get him to approach if your having a bad streak of double jump problems
