Well, it must have been a few months or maybe a month or so ago when a blog was made here that talked about Cartoon Network shows of the past. The thread became more then a thread to me in my mind though. I started my little hunt for old pictures of shows so I can have them as my avatar...and that's when I realized I maybe was getting myself too deep in this thing. You see, back then, girl shows were like sins for me to watch. I'd rot in hell, I'd be made fun of, I'd have no friends. Boys watched the cool stuff; Dragonball Z, Pokemon, Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, whatever. I distinctly remember the Powerpuff Girls though during my search for cool avatars. It was kind of like when you need to think of something and you get the PERFECT idea. And you don't doubt yourself at all, in your mind you know this is amazing and you want it. You KNOW that it is great and perfect. I had a similar experiance back when I played MPH, (Metroid Prime Hunters) everyone had cool names. I needed one. So one day when I was playing the game, I just paused for a moment (not in game, my mind did) and I laid there as I tried to think of a name. I looked out the window as I did so...Cloud. No. Tree? No. Hmmm...hmmmmmmm....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Oh my god. I know.

It was perfect, it still is perfect. No one foolish enough would have that name, it was MY name. I made it my name too, people knew me, the people I added on there would be greatly confused by my name. "Is that that...little girl show with hamsters?" Yes, yes it is. The same kind of excitment was going through my head when I though of my next avatar. The Sun Baby was pretty good, I'll admit, but I got tired of looking at it. I thought for a while. That lion in the beginning of all the James Bond movies. Nah. Then I remembered the thread. Johnny Bravo. Maybe. Tom & Jerry. Meh. Yes...yeah, I know...The Powerpuff Girls.
It's perfect, as now that I have no shame or anything to lose by having them as my avatar, I can...well, have them as my avatar. Now, this is a bit wierd, but yeah, I like the Powerpuff Girls. Not like a pedo, but you know, I enjoy the show. I think it's a hilarious show, it's like the show makes fun of the typical superhero comic books by having little girls as the superheroes. Now, yeah, that's not it. The other day, I was over at one of my friends house, and we were in his garage. Now, he has a sister. That's just to explain the prescense of this item that I will now explain. In the corner of the garage, I see it. It's all dirty, on the ground, but I recognize what it is. It's an umbrella. Now, unless I was crazy, I wouldn't be talking about an umbrella. I'm talking about a special umbrella here, it was a POWERPUFF GIRLS umbrella. I picked it up, and the handle was a ****ing Bubbles head. Yeah. I opened it up, and the umbrella, of course, had the Powerpuff Girls all over the umbrella, and they were holding onto umbrellas. Now, I'm not someone to ask for things that aren't mine, but this was too good to refuse. I took it, with approval of course, and later that night, a thunderstorm came through. Yeah. A thunderstorm.
So, I'm over at another friends house, and there's this clubhouse outside, with windows. Now, the windows are open, and his dad asks if they are shut. At this point, it's pouring buckets of rain, and there's lightning and thunder. Our mission; close the windows. I took my umbrella, (yeah, I brought it >_>) and my brother and my friend looked for another umbrella, as my PPG one is fit for a little girl. So we walk outside, and they have this beach umbrella thing, and I have a little PPG umbrella that hardly fits my shoulders under it. Now, it's pitch black outside, it was around what...11? Anyway, we're out there in the backyard, going to the clubhouse, with umbrellas, in an open field-like area, with a thunderstorm. I'm pretty much drenched at this point, my whole left side is wet, and I'm scared out of my mind with the though of me being struck by lightning. I could just see it, me laying there on the ground, fried, with a PPG umbrella (or whatever was left of it) next to me. So yeah, we get back in, and I'm wet and stuff, and I realized my umbrella wasn't so great when it was raining.
So yeah, that's that...really.
Well, I guess that's it, except that I'll be gone for two whole weeks not after this Friday, but the one after that. Big deal, no internet for two weeks while I'm in the rural, dangerous reaches of the UP.
This blog really leaves no room for comments, I know. Oh well, everyone has to have blogs like this sometimes, right? Oh! I'm not a girl, someone actually adressed me as a she today so yeah.
