This game is like a roulette

Match ups are heavy in this game it seems, even so any character can beat another but because you use Ike you gotta put in that work.

I've seen good Ike players on FG, i beat them but its amazing to see how well someone can do by actually you know not doubting their potential when facing against one of the best characters in the game.

Not that I necessarily agree with the OP (I think the main issue is that Ike is kinda crap), but by your logic, Pichu players should've had just as much of a chance to win melee tournaments as Marth/Fox players...

This is also true. There are a lot of characters in this game, and some will be inherently stronger than others. That's just the nature of the beast. My advice above still applies, but its entirely possible that the characters you are using are just not as good as other characters.

That's not to say the game is "poorly made" for this by any means. It just means your potential may be limited by your choice of character.

I feel like Ike is Milton from "Office Space" when they're handing out cake...

But that isn't what I'm saying at all. No matter how disadvantaged a match up is it's never unwinnable.

Should Pichu have won as many tournaments as Marth/Fox? No. Was itpossible for Pichu to have won as many tournaments? Yes

Even after playing a lot of For Glory with like..80% Ike I haven't really felt any of my matches were unwinnable. Sure, there are going to be hard ones and I did lose a number of them but I never felt like I couldn't bring it back from a high percent on the second stock.

Sure, on-line is random as you'll be given a lot of random people from all over the world but...to say it's purely a roulette wheel that determines you win chance doesn't sound quite right to me.

Dunno. Just as a fellow Ike player I can't say I've felt the same way.

Using online/For Glory as a basis to judge the game as a whole is also a really bad idea.
