Yes? I know Azen played Mario Kart DS randomly a lot. He seems to be some kind of legend on GameFAQs. Although this is assuming they come to play Smash or ever go online in the first place. There are still smashfests to play at and there'll be no lag.

It all depends on how frustrating the experience is.

Oh, and there's no names for "With Everyone" so you won't know if you played Azen or Ken or someone anyway Then again, if there were names then you'd have a bunch of people impersonating them like in Mario Kart DS.

Even if they are online, you probably won't be able to tell, they'll get so many friend requests that they will most likely stick to true friends and random matches.

As others have said, you wouldn't know if it was them or not-- assuming they randomly play the "With Anyone" mode of WiFi play. Friend codes rock! ;o
