Okay, seriously. Wario is special, more special than any of the other characters. His specialty is not really having a specialty, which is pretty special seeing as all the other characters in Brawl kind of stick to a special archetype. His special moves include turning into a special lavender-tights wearing superhero, farting, riding a motorcycle (that he obtained through somewhere special, he's not telling us though), and spinning like a star. He has a special helmet that has his own special symbol on it, and if I don't stop saying that everything about Wario is special I will never stop. He runs a special video-gaming company based on Wario's special short attention span, eats specially made rotten garlic, and mas his own special move, the Wild Swing-Ding. He specially picks his specially colored nose in the microgames he makes with two special fingers, and he obviously has very special relatives.

There. *passes out*

The Western side of Pop Star.
I agree completely with that mindset. Wario IS special, especially when it comes to the world of Nintendo. Here are 10 reasons why:

10. He, unlike other Nintendo protagonists, is actually a jerk, which is saying something. Also, he never takes things seriously, making him humourous.

9. While Mario runs around saving the same lady over and over again, Wario hunts down treasure to become rich!

8. His 2-d platforming games actually let him punch enemies, which is a change from simply stomping them.

7. He is invincible in two of his games. Mario only becomes invincible when he obtains a star.

6. His 3-d platformer, Wario World, shows that he can take down mobs of enemies without breaking a sweat. In fact, his game is so good that the Wild Swing-Ding is featured as one of his throws in Brawl!

5. His games actually have multiple endings, while mario only has one in every game(except Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, but that is irrelevant;)).

4. He always has different archenemies to deal with in each new platforming game! Mario mostly deals with Bowser and, recently, Bowser Jr.

3. He has his own second franchise, which has its own cast of characters, including a love interest! Luigi and Peach, who finally have their own games, have yet to achieve that milestone. Mario's 1st RPG series has an inconsistant playable cast while he has to share his 2nd one with Luigi.

2. Wario's 2nd franchise is completely unrelated to the Mario franchise, unlike Mario's other franchises.

1. Wario's 2nd franchise, WarioWare, features a genre that Mario never had and never will cover; wacky mini-game collections.

And that, fellow smashers, is why I appreciate Wario, who will become one of my long-awaited mains.

I agree a hundred percent. Long-awaited mains? Hell yeah, since 1999!

You said it better than me, which is quite a feat. Wario is quite special, by the way. Sakurai even says so.

But Wario alone is special...
On second thought, just leave it to the bigger boss. He can do what he wants, and if he wants Wario to be special, then so be it. I'm not complaining!
