Hey OP. Looks like you know what you're talking about. I took your advice since I'm trying to win more often online myself. I found that since the strategy involved nothing but rolling and air dodging, I couldn't deal any damage on my opponent, since it turns out pressing R a lot doesn't actually make your character attack. Instead I just got hit with a bunch of down smashes and dash attacks. What am I doing wrong?

Defense is all one button (L or R).

Defense is rewarded over offense.

Therefore, one button wins.

I find the concept of trolling in general to be annoying and overdone. I guess being annoying is the point, but the fact that people derive enjoyment from pissing off others is depressing.
