Something everyone should know, because apparently, a lot of people don't.

The wii is 100% backwards compatible with all gamecube controllers, memory cards, and games, with absolutely no problems running any gamecube title. There is pretty much no need to keep a gamecube once a wii has been purchased, because for all intensive purposes, a wii is a gamecube in every way, but with extra features.

I honestly didn't know this until someone on the smashboards talked about using the gc controller on the Wii.

I was like "Wtf" and searched around and found out on the cover at the top of it.

Yes, I keep it standing. >.>

Action Replay for gamecube is not compatible with Wii. This was the only reason I ever kept my gamecube until I got a
gamecube emulator.

Actually, it's funny. The majority of the hacks that work on a gamecube also work on a wii. Heck, the main difference between a gamecube and a wii disk is the size of the disk - the format hasn't changed at all though.

How do you think homebrew got started overnight?

You probably right about that, though.
