The Vault?

Today's update showed us the main selection screen, which included group, solo, wifi, vault, data, and options.






What could be under the "Vault" option?


My guess is trophies, stickers, screenshots, etc... but those could possibly be in the data section (screenshots anyway...)

Well I thought the exact same thing when I saw the Vault option. Btw, there's probably only like 3 more options. I myself would want them out of the way.

The vault is in green as in this picture:


The stickers are surrounded by green:


As are snapshots:


As is the stage builder:


As are the 3 min replays:


So I think its fairly obvious as to whats in the vault. Though trophies could be in the vault or data. Its got colors from both.

I'm going to say Stickers, Trophies, Stage Builder, and 3 minute replays aswell.

Sharp eye. I was thinking something like this, but you just proved it... But what's in the data section???

^they had a Data folder in melee, and if I'm not mistaken, the 64 version too. just turn you gamecube on and find out what to expect. btw, what would be the difference between Data and "the vault"?

The difference is that one contains all of the saved data that you could look at or delete, as seen in the options update. The other thing would have things of substance.Btw, stage builder stages for online :ness: :estatic: .

They would probably have some sort of "story compendium" of all the monsters, stages, and events that happen through subspace.

Like a growing encyclopedia?

Well, the data section in Melee contains:
Snapshots
Archives
Sound Test
Melee Recoords
Special

But he already said the sound test would be in options, and it looks like the snapshots will be in there, too.

I think data will have:
Brawl Records
Archives

.......

I don't know what I think the Brawl Data folder will have, actually. =/

****it homstar, as I was reading this thread I was about to post the exact post you made. I have a saved word codument that shows what every mode/option goes under each category, by stuudying the screens like you.

You all think that maybe just maybe that you can use coins to buy like an extra fighter but not a really character kinda like o i dont know master hand and crazy hand ?

probably not, well at least not master hand, but it did say on the dojo " And supposedly you can use them somewhere. But no—you don’t use them to shop." (refering to coins)

No. All the Trophies and Sticker stuff is going to be under solo. Solo meaning single player. The vault is probably a place where it tells you what you've unlocked things like Music, Stages, New Modes?, and Characters.

Therefore making "Data" things like vs records, high scores, character comparison charts, online play records, game time, etc. Maybe stuff like videos.
