Ok, these are the character's chances thread which i made on my own opinion
Top Tier:
Captain Falcon: It's a given as he has his symbol, is very original, and was in the original 12. percent: 98.7%
Luigi: He's been in the original 12, Mario's brother, and with the release of Luigi's Mansion, he can be given an interesting moveset AND, some Ninendo rep let him slip a bit. percent: 97.1%
High tier:
Ganondorf: He's the main enemy of Link, and all's he need's is a more unique moveset( hoping with his sword) and he'll be perfect. Also, someone sent designs of Ganondorf for Brawl to Sakurai, am I right? Percent: 93.7%
Marth: With him being the star of a Fire Emblem game, and a newly released one on the DS, and his original moveset which Ike has not claimed, his chances of coming back are great. Percent: 91.5%
Falco: I don't see why he shouldn't return and he's pretty close with Fox. I don't have much to say about him, but change his moveset around and he good to go. Percent: 88.2%
Sheik: With Sheik being the transformation of Zelda and Zelda's moveset not being reveiled, Sheik has a good chance. I also thought I saw some screenshots on the Smashboards of Zelda almost transforming to Sheik, but didn't complete the transformation, and Sheik's designs had been sent to Sakurai for Brawl by the same person who sent Ganondorf's designs. Percent: 88.1%
Jiggypuff: Well, original 12, unique, and I think David Hayter let Jigglypuff slip. What's stopping him from coming back? Percent: 84.2%
Middle Tier:
Mewtwo: Mewtwo is a unique character, and he is a decently popular pokemon, so the only think that may threaten him is that he may get turned to a boss or maybe a pokeball?(like Deoxys, a legendary in a pokeball) Still, his chances are good enough. Percent: 79.2%
Mr. Game and Watch: He is VERY unique and he is a retro character that could be easily worked into Brawl and was also a Tribute to the person who made Game and Watch ( I think)
His only problem is that maybe he might be only a one time WTF character, still, it will crush me if he's not in Brawl. Percent: 77.6%
Low tier:
Roy: He was only put in for advertisment, and is not the most popular, although, if changed up a bit, he just MAYBE will make it though to Brawl, but his chances are not the greatest. Percent: 49.9%
Bottom:
Young Link: He's just an inferior, younger version of Link so with that "no clones" issue in place, things are looking rough for Young Link. Percent: 42.,3%
Pichu: A joke character who doesn't have alot of popularity, and there are more unique characters out there than this suicidal rat. Percent: 35.4%
Dr. Mario: A VERY big clone of Mario's that is just a waste of space. He's should be an alternate costume I think... Percent: 22.1%
SCREWED Tier: (my own made up one)
Ness: With the announcement of Lucas's move almost completely identical to his. The "Up until now" words on Lucas's move's announcement( although i means " so far" in Japanese, his little stardom, and originally to be replaced by Lucas in Melee, he's in a BAD position. Don't be surprised if he's not in Brawl, as the only hope he has is that PK flash isn't Lucas's and that "Up until now" means "so far" in Japanese, he's got nothing going for him. Bye bye Ness, tis was nice knowing ya. Percent: 11.2%
