I love how PA hosts tiny tournies on the same day as bigger and better ones in NJ, MD, VA, or NY and then PA doesn't get the chance to get better because they just play themselves and stay at the same low level.

hell, im not even goin to this tourney. im busy
but were holding a biweekly sadaharu inui (throwing ur name in here so u find it when u name search
) this sunday which u should go to. come prove to us that we havent gotten betterand im against these lil miny tourney things. i think smashfests make more sense. unless this actually breaks 10 people -_-

@Chibo: Sorry, I'm not driving all the way to Philly to beat you all and make a profit of $5. I'd rather go see my family on Sunday because my grandmother is up from Florida for the first time in a decade, and then I'm going to WHOBO to beat good players and make big money teaming with Mew2King the following weekend.

guys who gives a **** he's right, we should be going to SWR, if I checked tourney listings I would've known about it and wanted to go. he's not right about us not getting better (except me because I don't really play at all) but we SHOULD be at the big tourney, at least some of us

Well I'm already going to WHOBO and Apex..... that's enough Smash traveling for me. Some of our lives don't revolve around running to NY/NJ/wherever for a video game, Inui..... x.x
Not knocking people who do, because if there were more hours in a day, I would. But I think having smaller things are good for people who just want to stay in the area. Even going to NYC or NJ gets expensive after you make the trip a few times.
Anyway, I have nothing against making this a smashfest. Like I said, people asked to use my place, and I just said yes. I don't care about making a profit or anything.... I just want to have fun and get some practice in before WHOBO.

Travelling (even throughout the tri-state area) can get a little expensive if you do it all the time and aren't making money or anything (unless you do MMs). It's fun to play/see different players, but sometimes you may just want to go to stuff locally. Change it up every now and then, you could say.
