Amiibo have been a long running series of Nintendo merchandise for a while now, so I thought I’d make a general thread to talk about the figurines. This thread is just for those who want to share Amiibo collections, ask questions/ get suggestions, and maybe even predict the next batch to be released.

Cool collections Mogisthelioma and @PhantomLampent, you guys have some cool ones that I still seem to be missing.

Recently I just acquired Skyward Sword Link and Robin to my collection and they look great. I’m hoping to get a few new ones soon with Off The Hook, Dectective Pikachu, and King K Rool being the ones I have my eyes on.

I'm not gonna lie-

Amiibo killed my desire to ever collect anything, ever again.
Not just from the amount of space,
but the hype of hunting in the first few rounds ended up with someone hitting me off the road while I was on a Moped, chasing me from one Walmart to another at midnight for a Golden Mario.
When I found him, I was pretty bloody, and nearly started a physical altercation.

Bottom line: I'm only doing the Smash ones, and I don't care if I miss them nearly as much.
I still don't have Bayonetta 1-2, or Corrin 1-2.

That said, I have all the other Smash ones from those days. And most of the new ones.
Too many animal crossing ones.
First wave of the Mario ones.
A lot of the standalones- like Gold Mega Man, Chibi Robo, and Shovel Knight.
A bunch of Splatoon.

Incomplete levels of Kirby and the Zelda lines.
None of Metroid.

And if they do ever do Pokemon, I better steer clear.

I only try to collect all the Metroid, DK and third party amiibo (minus cases like the second Cloud and Bayonetta ones) with maybe a few exceptions.

If we get Erdrick in Smash and Eight is his alt however, you can bet that he will be an exception.
