It's not about just getting the game, it's about getting the game before midnight provided you're not EST. The hour differences in timezones mean that if it's released universally at 12 AM EST, someone in Washington would be able to get it at 9 PM which is very ideal for them. Why don't you do that thing they released recently that automatically downloads it the moment it comes out?
Don't worry, you're gonna get the game lmao.
So I can, like.... play it an hour early? I dunno. Smash 4 Wii U and stuff. HD 1080p 60fps waited years and things. It's a neat idea or what have you and stuff. Why don't you do that thing they released recently that automatically downloads it the moment it comes out?

So that game, and even Smash 3ds was the case. I believe it's the same here (probably for most). Neat. When Mass Effect 3 came out I was able to play it at 9pm PST because it was midnight on east coast. Dunno if that'll be applicable to smash though
