Smash Wii U The true time for eShop release tonight?

I thought it was midnight for all timezones on the 3ds version, yet it was midnight EST which was 11 for me.

Is that the same case here or what? Plez I nidz to know.

I too share this query. However if it was @11pm for you for the 3ds version it stands to reason it may be the same this time.

When Mass Effect 3 came out I was able to play it at 9pm PST because it was midnight on east coast. Dunno if that'll be applicable to smash though

It's not about just getting the game, it's about getting the game before midnight provided you're not EST. The hour differences in timezones mean that if it's released universally at 12 AM EST, someone in Washington would be able to get it at 9 PM which is very ideal for them.

When Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is released on November 21st at 12AM EST, a small game update will be made available that allows those that pre-loaded the game to start playing immediately after the update completes.

So, for those of us in North America that don't live on the East Coast, that should be:

11PM Central Standard Time
10PM Mountain Standard Time
9PM Pacific Standard Time

I already have the game bought and pre-loaded. And I live in Illinois, so I'll definitely be clicking on the Smash Bros. icon at 11PM sharp.

But yeah, for everyone in North America, the time should be about 10 hours and 23 minutes from the time of this post. It's so close!
