to nobletoast: ok, fair enough, but you have to remember that Nintendo tried to put a disk drive in the 64 (or the snes, can't remember which one) so they asked Sony, then broke off with Sony and asked phillips, then gave up all together. both sony and phillips carried on. Sony got the playstation and became successful. Phillips got their paper weight and failed miserably. but I stand corrected. I guess I've heard many people say Square was going for the money, it caught on
Quite true. Ironically it was Nintendo that spared Sony on to joining the gaming market. Something that I still find immensely amusing to this day. For the record Sora should not be in the game and if in a million years there was a FF character it should be one relevant to Nintendo, ie - Black Mage and not Cloud or Sepitoth or Vincent etc.

On the subject of RARE. They are fourth party but I think the chances of Banjo and Kazooie showing up in Brawl isnt that far out. (No way would Nintendo allow Concker in, they more or less denied its exsistence when it was released due to its adult content). Microsoft have a Banjo and Kazzooie exclusive game coming out to promote and if Nintendo came knocking asking for rights to the character then Microsoft im sure wouldnt mind loaning Nintendo a character who wont raise the sales highter and who could provide a cheap plug to Nintendo owners reminding them how awesome Banjo and Kazzooie games where. Nintendo might want Banjo and Kazooie because they are quite important to their hisotry (easily two of there greatest platformers ever on the N64) and as the Melee poll proved, their imensley popular. But alas Nintendo has a deap rooted hatered of Microsoft (theres been many quotes of people high up the Nintendo chain of command having pops at them) and if they thought that putting them in would give Microsoft even a sniff of advertising then Nintendo wouldnt dare let them in.

Its an interesting topic. Maybe it should be added for discussion, maybe not. I personaly dont care if their in or not but that moveset would be so awesome.

they would be awesome. the original Banjo Kazooie was, collectivley my family's favourite game. we'd all have a go. it was my first N64 game, which made me really depressed when I saw that I would need to buy a 360 to play the next one (although, I have a feeling that it would be a graphical remodel of the original) hang on... *looks at post count on this thread* I must say, this is probably my most succesful thread since I said "Hi" after I joined. I'm rather chuffed
