Hello Smashers,

Exploring the internet, I was heavily inspired by the newly created League of Legends arcade cabinet (http://kotaku.com/league-of-legends-arcade-cabinet-is-a-brilliant-idea-1732910929). I thought it would be a great idea to create a Super Smash Bros. arcade cabinet. I am headed into youth ministry, and I thought creating one would be a great way to give the students an accessible way to play the game.

So what would be your thoughts, ideas, or suggestions in building this?

Here is what my ideal build would consist of:

One machine that allows the play of as many smash games as possible (with melee being the most important one).

Access for four players (traditional gamecube controllers, or maybe traditional arcade sticks?)

A smooth and nice looking cabinet.

Someone actually created a Melee arcade cabinet and talks about how he managed to do so in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQS676zr8WY

I'm not entirely sure how one cabinet would switch between multiple games without using emulator(s) without opening up the cabinet and manually switching between consoles on one television. If that isn't an issue, then it might be your best bet. I'm not exactly the most knowledgeable person on this subject, but I hope I helped at least a bit. Good luck!
