Smash Journeyman
Once again I hope that nothing similar to this exists yet. If there is something, please point me too it. Seems like I am not too good with finding out if certain threads exist on the Smash Board...
All right then, the idea behind this thread is we try to come up with all kinds of characters that could have Smash Bros. movesets, characters from a certain game series from Nintendo, in this case, Starfox.
We can use all kinds of characters that have appeared in the Starfox series as long as they make sense to have a moveset and are popular enough. I know that there won't probably be more than 3 or 4 Starfox characters in Brawl, but let's just assume that if certain characters WERE in Brawl, how would they fight? Especially, what kind of moves do they have?
I have seen many ideas for such fighters as Krystal or Wolf, even a few new ones for Fox or Falco, but what would you think would characters like Peppy or Tricky have?
Let's do it like this: I start and make a post about a certain character and I say what kind of Special Moves she'll have and what Final Smash. The things you can add, but don't have to are additional stuff like special grabs, taunts and costumes.
And when I am finished with my first one, you can go and post your own ideas. I still have to see if I do similar threads like this for Zelda, Mario or Metroid characters, but we'll see.
Okay, first one is easy as there have been many suggestions for her, and when you look at Starfox Adventures, it is easy to pick out a moveset for her...

KRYSTAL
Krystal fights with her staff and has a longer reach than Fox. She is also slightly slower than her.
Special Move Neutral: Fire Blaster
Fires a volley of small fireballs with her staff, with a slower rate of fire than Fox. Just like with Falco's shots, the enemy flinches upon impact. She can slightly aim upwards and downwards as well.
Special Move Sidewards: Ice Blaster
Sprays some ice in front of her, slightly longer range than Bowsers fire breath. Slightly hurts the opponent and also freezes him for a while.
Special Move Up: Rocket Boost
No matter if done from the ground or in the air, Krystals staff is giving off a boost of magical energy that propels her upwards. Opponents will be thrown back when being hit, but most damage will be caused if they touch the magic that comes out of the staff.
Special Move Down: Ground Quake
Krystal slams down her staff to the ground and creates a massive shockwave that hurts anyone who is standing too close to her. If she's on the ground, she jumps up before doing it. If she's in the air, she simply slams down. Opponents are thrown back quite a distance by this move.
Final Smash: Earth Walker
An Earth Walker dinosaur appears and Krystal can ride on him for a while. It can run, jump, simply trample her opponents or attack them with his horn. While she can be damaged while doing this, she will receive no knockback and damage will be cut in half. After some time, the Earth Walker disappears.
Standard Combo: Krystal attacks twice with the staff, then hops and slams it down on her enemy (forward staff combo from Starfox Adventures).
Sidewards Smash: Krystal spins around the staff and attacks with a firm kick.
Downwards Smash: Krystal sweeps her staff forwards and backwards on the ground.
Upwards Smash: Krystal raises her staff into the air and spins it around like a helicopter blade.
Guard: Magical Shield from Starfox Adventures, has the same properties of a normal shield, though.
Forwards Throw: Turns around once and throws the enemy forward.
Backwards Throw: Throws the enemy over her shoulder with the staff.
Up Throw: Flips the enemy upwards with her staff.
Down Throw: Throws the enemy to the ground and bashes him with the staff.
Taunt: Puts her staff next to her on the ground, faces the camera and smirks.
Standard Outfit: Her outfit from Starfox Adventures.
Costumes B-C: Colorations of her Starfox Adventures outfit.
Costume D: Her Starfox Assault outfit.
Costumes E-F: Colorations of her Starfox Adventures outfit.
....
Okay, that's it!
Now it's your turn: Try to think of a character of your choice, may it be Falco, Slippy, General Scales, Rob 64, whoever. As long as you have good moves for him/her in mind.
But just one, okay? The earliest time you are allowed to take over is after someone else has posted something after your last character post.
Gimme your best shot!
