I am now in charge of Pokemon Researcher submissions. To be granted the title, you must post frequently in this room and show interest/knowledge of the series. That is all.

It was no reason. The thread was started IN PART to dicuss such things. It broke NO RULE on smashboards. I'm sorry we can't be all posh about everything, but if we can't talk about such things in an off hand, non-offensive, non-explicit way, if we can't talk about things in women that we find sexually arousing to a VERY TAME extent, then **** it, I don't play video games anymore, I'm done here. there was nothing derogtaory in that thread at all, and anyone who took offense to someone saying "boob" is not a place I'll be in. Honestly, this is complete bull **** and I'm done dealing with the bull **** I have to put up with just to post on Smashboards.

The generation before us does. A good reason is because of their lack of the experience themselves. Neither of my parents went to college. They never finished high school, to be exact. My mom had to drop out her Freshman year because she had to work to support the family, and my dad got in 2 years I think before the Vietnam War started.

My mom got pregnant
They come to US
They have me

There were multiple posts of sexually explicit behavior, and you were one who contributed to it. Plus, Thundermistress - a female mod - posted in there and showed that see took offense to the thread. That alone is enough to lock it. Remember, SWF is supposed to be an E-for-everyone environment. That thread crossed the line.

An idea for Pokemon Reseachers, just going to throw it out there.

Now, first of all, we would need to get rid of any resaecher that doesn't show extensive Pokemon knowledge. Next, we modify the Pokemon Research Sub-Forum for the time being be modified to serve two roles:
A. SmashCAP discussions/polls/etc stored there.
B. Serious Pokemon Discussions (for example, a very current topic on Smogon is that Deo-D might get tested, and be brought down to OU. Pokemon researchers could discuss this topic in there)

It would allow Researchers to bring up topics that require only serious discussion, etc.
I also would like to bring up some old topics as well that need to be finished up through this, like SmashCAP1's sprite and movesets.

Thoughts?

Agreed completely. Spire is the new head of the Researchers so I'm hoping he'll see to this.

Maybe "Pokemon Master" or something like that.
It just doesn't make sense to keep the "researcher" part anymore. It's like a misnomer.

Also, as a little add-on, I'm going to say that the "Serious Pokemon discussions" can actually become creating and discussing sets again when the 5th Gen comes out, we'll have a few months to look and things and see what we find.
