Presenting the Smash 3DS Demo Challenge - I'm really enjoying the demo, but will only have access to CPU players much of the time locally. To feel like some progress is being made, I made this quick table where you can mark off each combination of characters (and whether or not on Omega Battlefield) with the difficulty you beat it on to give a sense of progress. It's not for everyone but hopefully someone will be entertained. Save a copy, and fill at least the blue part with 9s. Then you'll be ready for high intensity Classic and All Star... maybe.

The match tends to end with the Level 9 at around 80% and me around 30. It's not an issue of not being good enough.
My matches tend to end on average with the CPU down two stocks and me either down one or at about 160%, seems like most others have no problems taking stocks either, thats why I said it

Dang, some people here are so high and mighty sometimes... As if everyone who plays this game should be expected to beat level 9's flawlessly

Why are you taking that much damage? That seems like an excessive number of mistakes against an AI as abusable as the one in this game.
Sometimes you have to take risks to get kills, him taking stocks is much more impressive than you not getting one to 100%, I've taken 3 stocks from a lvl9 once that's my record

its HILARIOUS that you are complaining basically about how bad you are, and then try to turn around and insult someone for being able to do what you can not.

I agree. Usually, people play with stocks. Its important to avoid damage, for sure. But, its more important to learn how to take stocks. In the end, a balance of both is needed to truly be good at the game.

You can still fool the lvl 9 CPUs once you get the hang of it, its just matter of learning at what point theyre routines drop the guard, the only thing I find difficult in this game is consistently pulling off my Up tilts as opposed to jumping since I cant turn off tap to jump in the demo ughhh
