DK’s Standard Special Move: Giant Punch

Samus’s Standard Special Move: Charge Shot

...among others.

Among others? Hmm... none of the other characters confirmed to be in Brawl have moves that charge in this fashion, unless it has yet to be revealed, like Dedede's B move.

Well, let's see. Who else had moves that charged like this?

Yes they did. You could charge it up and hit shield and carry them with you. Sheik would slightly flash while you kept it in reserve.

Also, I was under the impression that Fludd worked like Link's arrows, you charge it up on the spot and use it once you let go/it reached maximum charge. Someone who went to E4All please give us details?

And Wario's fart doesn't charge that way either. It just automatically gets stronger the longer you go without using it.

I think FLUDD is just a regular stream that shoots out for a certain amount of time.

Sheik's WASN'T like the others. The rest charged after you released the button. You had to hold B for sheik's. True, you could cancel with shield, but you couldn't keep charging while holding down the button like the quote states.

Ah, you're right. Its kind of a hybrid between the two types then. I'd still say this gives Sheik a little boost in hope though.

Actually, now that I think about it, they probably made her needles that way because its faster to let go of a button than it is to press one. The nature of the move, and Sheik overall, is speed, so they designed the move so that you can release the needles faster. Makes sense to me anyway...

Of course. This is just speculation, and I think it DOES increase Sheik and Mewtwo's hopes.

Why does it have to increase Shiek's and Mewtwo's chances? There are tons of other characters that we could have no idea about that could charge moves. Stop pulling things out of your ***.
