Hullo, there! Welcome to Smashboards! I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that you're pretty new to the game, or at least have played it at a casual level for a long time. This technique you describe is and has been known for a fairly long time (pretty much since the very first Smash game for the Nintendo 64, but no harm no foul), since it is the only way Ness can recover back to the stage in a lot of cases. I'd recommend taking a peek around the Ness boards for a while, and seeing what you can learn and figure out! We're happy to answer questions as long as the answers aren't already easily accessible. In the future, I'd recommend looking around a bit more before making a guide on something. In your case, it's rather brief, doesn't describe much in detail about uses, benefits, strategies, or examples (to add to the fact that its already known). But again, no harm no foul!
