Super Smash Bros., the original N64 classic that started it all is coming to the Wii Virtual Console in Japan this month! To celebrate, its time to Brawl in N64 style with only the first eight, unlocked characters from the original game! Choose your favorite classic Smash Bros. character and Brawl! Every match will be broadcasted live, so get ready to watch some brawls and give your commentary on them in the chat!
-GENERAL RULES-
- 16 Players Max
- Each Match is a 1 vs 1 Brawl (with 1 spectator to allow broadcast)
- Character choice limited to: Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Yoshi, Kirby, Fox, and Pikachu
- Battlefield for Rounds 1, 2
- Final Destination for Round 3 and beyond
- No Items
- Final Round Best of 3
- All other Rounds Best of 1
- Round 1 & 2 - 2 Stock with a 3 Minute Time Limit
- All other rounds - 3 Stock with a 8 minute Time Limit

Registration will be on the day of the tournament. (January 17th) It will begin at 1:00 PM and go until 1:15 PM (Eastern Time), giving you about 15 minutes to register. Go to http://www.vgtrs.com to find the registration page and more info on the live tournament. Remember, there is 16 Player limit, so register fast! First come, first in! Remember: Replying to this thread WILL NOT count as a registration.
