I.History
Viki is a ditzy and adorable girl with a penchant for magic, specifically teleportation magic. She appears in all five Suikoden games to aid the main character with her magical prowess. As a permanent bearer of the Blinking Rune she is able to teleport herself, others, objects, animals, presidential candidates, anything you name to anywhere. Her past is mostly a mystery beyond the games themselves, consisting of a homeland in an unknown dimension where time and space bend and distort. During the game series she warped through time and space to each new game at the victory banquet of the previous one. Often she does this unintentionally due to sneezing, causing her to complain about missing her meals. While characterized by childlike naivete, obliviousness, shyness and the occasional backfired spell, her magical ability is not to be underestimated- she proves that big things come in little packages.
Suikoden 1- The time is ripe for revolution. The Scarlet Moon Empire combats the Resistance. In the heat of the fighting Viki appears to Tir Mcdohl, leader of the Resistance. Confused by her surroundings and not quite sure where she is, she offers her services to Mcdohl in return for protection and a home. After much magework and teleporting she disappears during the victory banquet after sneezing.
Suikoden 2- In this masterpiece of political intrigue, considered the best in the series, Highland attempts to conquer the Jowston Republic. Also included in this massive campaign are the Matilda Knights, the city of Tinto, a racially divided town of Three Rivers and many others in a huge and immersive world. Viki appears to Riou in this game in the forest. Hungry and scared she joins his army in order for protection. She disappears during the celebration at the end without a trace.
Suikoden 3- The Masked Bishop wants to rid the world of runes in a battle to the end. Harmonia plans to drive out the Grasslands while Zexens stand back and watch while conflicting with the Grasslands. Viki appears to the Flame Champion of the Grasslands with a surprise following her- Little Viki! Little Viki is the child version of Viki. Contrary to belief she is calm and in control, unlike our adorable errant time traveler. They both disappear after the game is over while celebrating. And she didn't even get one bite.
Suikoden 4- The Cray Empire and the betrayed hero Lazlo star in Suikoden 4, an epic of the high seas. Viki appears to him on Nei Island in the cat area and decides to enlist with him, sailing the high seas while teleporting people to and from the ship. She disappears during the feast, hungry once more.
Suikoden 5- Possibly the best in the series behind the second, Five is a triumphant Magnum Opus. With political backstabbing, an engaging and elaborate backstory involving the trials of Falena and its renegade prince, Viki appears. She comes to him outside of the Sindar Ruins, warping in for her first cutscene role ever! She immediately realizes she has warped again and asked for help. She then disappears at the end of the game in her circumstances
Note: If anyone could find me an english version of her appearance in video format I'd be very appreciative.
II.Abilities
A. Magic
As one of the most powerful magicians in the series, her ability ranges from mass teleportation to dropping vast amounts of objects upon her foes to chaining consecutive spells together- A feat no other magician in the series can accomplish, no matter how far their experience in arcane craft. Viki has a natural affinity for magic, making her a powerful opponent that can marshal elements and stick people headfirst into the ground. However, as expected, her physical abilities are lacking, with her punches being the equivalent of a light poke on the head. As of the most recent game she is among the top three magicians with a natural power for magic that exceeds all expectations.
B. The Blinking Rune
Viki's signature Rune. The Blinking Rune is a near one of a kind with only one person able to marshal its power with significant prowess. In the game it can be used to instantly teleport one opponent from the battlefield, to drop large amounts of objects on enemies or to teleport entire parties away from combat. Such is its power that it can distort time and space, taking her hundreds of years into the past and future. While Viki can often backfire, her abilities with this are not to be taken lightly. She has shown abilities with this rune that far exceed the average magician.
Due to the fact that it only has three spells while every other rune has four if any, coupled with the fact that she does not visibly age at all and her natural affinity for magic and numerous feats in the craft it is widely debated over whether she has a True Rune or not. For those unfamilliar to the series, a True Rune is a rune of far greater power, one of twenty seven from which all other runes spawned. A bearer of a True Rune has immense magical power and is granted immortality, along with any powers that go with it. The implications of this could make Viki more powerful then we ever imagined.
The Blinking Rune, pictured above, is always on her forehead.
C. The Uwa-Wa-Wa-Wand
Viki's staff, the Uwa-Wa-Wa Wand. The game has a system called Sharpening in which one can sharpen a weapon to level 16, due to there being no equipment system for weapons. Instead each character has their own signature weapon and may power this up. Vikis is the Uwa-Wa-Wa Wand, a tall staff with an orb at the top of it. Its properties are mostly unknown but it seems to increase her physical power. In Brawl, however, it would increase her range to Marth-like proportions and be a key part of her play. And who doesn't love the adorable sound of the 'Uwa-Wa-Wa'?
D. Information
Weight: **- Viki is light and floaty due to her being a 16 year old girl. What, did you expect a heavyweight Mike Tyson type? This combined with her size means that she relies on outspeeding her opponents and delivering devastating hits.
Attack Power: */****- Two stars for physical to match her atrocious physical combat abilities. When it comes to magic, four stars for her natural affinity for it. In other words- If she's swinging the staff then it's ok. If she's chanting some mumbo jumbo then I suggest running. Running far away, changing your name and purchasing a new home.
Jump: ***- Viki can jump pretty well, having a strange Ness-esque floaty jump that can let her DJC but she can short hop like a beast. This is especially important when abusing her aerials. Her second jump for the DJC is incredibly fast, not to mention that she has her own secret way of eliminating lag...
Ground Speed- **- Vikis ground speed is nothing to boast about. She's fairly fast and efficient but will require tight and professional play to not be defeated easily by faster and more heavily armed ground opponents. Attack wise her speed is slow, partially made up for by her disjointed hitboxes. Her ground arsenal, however, has many launchers that lead into the area where she absolutely dominates. See below.
Air Speed- ****- Viki is an absolute ditzy dominatrix in the air. While her ground game is full of holes like Swiss Cheese, her air game is pure rich Cheddar. That's if your Cheddar happens to have amazingly high priority attacks with disjointed hitboxes that make her an aerial powerhouse to be feared. I'd put her within the Top 3 easily in the air game.
Size- **1/2- Viki is the size of what you'd expect a 16 year old girl to be. She is light and fairly easy to K.O from combos but won't be dying from the first few hits. Can take a punch surprisingly well. (Falcon Punch anyone?) Still a lightweight though.
Range- */****- Viki has a great range with her attacks due to many of them involving either spells or her staff. The few physical ones she does have can really make her sad, accounting for the one star. Everything else is three stars, excellent range.
Lag- */****- Vikis ground game often has bits of lag thrown in there, limiting its usefulness. Her air lag is almost nonexistent however.
III. Moveset (This is going to get a bit strange)
A. A Attacks
Ground Moves
Vikis ground moves are the addition to her amazing air game that helps it soar. Launch an enemy or finish them off, it doesn't matter. Her ground game is fairly solid if a bit slow. However it can surprise people so don't be afraid to pull it out.
Wa-Wand!: A- A light bonk on the head with her staff with the orb on top. Unnoticeable knockback. Combining this with another A is good for gaining space. 3%
Wa-Wa-Wand!: AA- Her first light bonk turns into a second heavier bonk. No aerial knockback- Sends them sliding along the ground backwards slightly. 4%
Wa-Wa-Wa-Wand!: AAA- Her second bonk is followed up by an even heavier bonk, followed by the cry of "Get away!". Slow with tiny aerial launch. You're better off using the tilts and AA or even smashes. 7%
Sorry!: Dash A- Viki's signature clumsiness comes into play as she rushes at her foe and trips straight into them facefirst. She gets up VERY quickly due to her experience with falling over. Knocks opponents down as well. 8%
Arc Lightning: Up Tilt- Viki waves her staff above her head and a swath of lightning follows it. Shocks an opponent in place for a second and then throws them up above you. You cannot DI out of this, only the trajectory that follows. A strong aerial launcher that can lead to her amazing air game. This is one of the harder hitboxes to penetrate due to it having near magnetic pull to the top from which you are thrown upwards. 5-11%
Maelstrom Staff: Side Tilt- Viki swipes her staff in front of her in an upwards motion and a frosty wind blows up directly in front of her. Excellent for gaining some space as it has a wide hitbox. Deals decent knockback and damage while freezing opponents at higher percentages. Its weakness is that the hitbox is fairly close to your body meaning that it can be stabbed through by a properly disjointed one such as Links sword. 12%, 5% if only staff hits.
Stone Burst: Down Tilt- Viki plants her staff in the ground and a small cluster of stones poke up! These stones go only up to about the ankle length and have bad damage but pop opponents upwards into the air for punishment. Can easily shield stab and lead into devastating and punishing aerials. Can be a bit laggy if blocked against. 5-7%
Achoo!: Up Smash- Viki sneezes, throws an arm up and a burst of magical energy explodes above her! The blast is quite large, having a decent horizontal range and reaching quite high above her. Fast and excellent for finishing but can leave you very open from the sides. Best used on light, recovering opponents. Lag on the end means that it isn't your best choice for leading into aerials. This attack is fast to start though. Charging will result in a humorous animation in which she attempts to hold back her sneeze. 10-15%
Tornado Sneeze: Side Smash- Viki sneezes and a gust of wind blasts out in front of her! Can easily pick up people and hurl them away from her. Almost nonexistent lag at the beginning but on the end she wipes her nose with her sleeve (Aww <3), making it bad for launching but great for gaining some space. Charging results in a humorous animation in which she attempts to hold back her sneeze. Great hitbox, good damage. 9-14%
Raging Flame: Down Smash- Viki points her staff head at the ground and veritable pillars of fire explode on either side of her. Good knockback and vertical range but leaves her vulnerable to projectiles. Beware of this if you are rushing her; it is a great space gainer on the ground. However this is slow and shouldn't be relied on often. Often people may decide to jump over you and then land straight down on you. This might be a mistake- they're in the air... 8-14%.
Air Moves
The absolute cornerstone of Vikis arsenal. Viki has a deadly air game that is unmatched, to the point of absolute aerial domination. Nobody stands in the way if you know how to use it right. Use and abuse.
Warning: Contains large amounts of cute and trace amounts of badass.
Dervish Spin: Neutral Air- Viki spins while holding her staff horizontally. If hit there is a short flash of light from the whole length of the staff. Decent knockback and damage. Its range is deceptive and the knockback angle depends on where they hit her. Oftentimes it can be fast enough to gain some space out of a combo. Almost nonexistent lag means that one can SHFFL this and quickly chase. Good stun means that if you can't hit them with a B-Air, this one will definitely get them. 10-15%
Aeon Slash: Foward Air- Viki swings her staff foward quickly and if it contacts with a foe then a burst of magical energy ignites! Good damage and is a spike if placed correctly near the bottom of her swing. The swipe is very quick, leaving little room for error. Ridiculous priority, strong knockback at higher percentages with a good hitbox and a speed that is equal to Marths F-Air. 10-15%
Excuse Me!: Back Air- Viki sneezes and is propelled backward by the power of her sneeze where she slams into an opponent with her... rump. Good damage but bad killing power, popping them up slightly. However it has incredible air stun so it is amazing for beginning aerial chains, it is a power to fear. Beware this leading into a foward air as it spins her around, much like Marths back-air. Doing so could lead into an easy stun and spike. Chaining together these and U-Airs can rack up damage fast so I'd suggest watching out. 10-15%
And no, she doesn't fart. Weirdos.
Spiral Grace: Up Air- Viki, in a rare moment of grace and balance, flips backwards while slashing the air with her staff similar to Marth. When an opponent is hit a slashing sound is heard. Perfect for juggling, it knocks them straight up. Good finisher at high percentages and useful for comboing or keeping them in the air so you can land to regain jumps. Has surprising speed and very high priority, even for Viki whom has massive air priority on everything. The sweetspot is huge. 10-15%
Now You're Thinking With Portals!: Down Air- Viki stabs downwards with the head of her staff and a small burst of teleporting energy appears, hitting an opponent and teleporting them downwards. The distance teleported relies on the amount of damage. Theres a slight delay in which you can DI before she teleports you down, resulting in you moving in that direction. Deadly and fast, it can be used to finish off people. Great hitbox and decent damage that can stack up if they hit a solid surface like the ground hard enough. Can bounce them fairly high. 10%. 6% if they hit the ground from being teleported directly.
B. B Moves
The crux of Viki's abilities is her teleportation- All of her B attacks are based off of it. Viki has a versatile B moveset including a powerful projectile, a reflective move, an area destroyer and a powerful recovery that completes her already near godly aerial game.
Go!: Neutral B- Viki points her staff and fires an orb out. Contact with the orb results in suddenly reappearing a foot off the ground and then slamming into it painfully. When hitting someone in the air it instead teleports them into another dimension and back, harming them with the powerful uncontrolled magical energy involved in such an act. They simply reappear where they originally were but are stunned. Projectiles speed is increased with charging but is initially slow. There is a slight cooldown time in between firing them. Charging will also increase the amount of times someone is slammed into the ground or sent whirling through dimensions with a max of three. Charge can be stored. Viki's Third Spell.
2%- Initial contact with the orb.
5%- Slamming into the ground.
3%- Magical Radiation (Air Damage)
Mirror Wind: Side B- Viki spins and quickly points her staff outwards. Any objects or projectiles that are touching Viki are sent back at 1.5x the speed and have their original damage. Contact with Viki results in being teleported in a random direction in a helpless state. When used in the air there is a bit more start-up time but with her multiple strong launchers and strong recovery it can be devastating. When on the ground it occurs almost instantly, making it hard to penetrate. Slower then the Shine aerial-wise but reflects projectiles superbly on the ground.
5%-9%- Touching Viki while she spins.
X%- Projectiles reflected.
Ready!: Up B- Viki sneezes and magical energy coalesces around her for a few frames, pushing back and slightly damaging anyone who tries to hit her from any direction. Point at a direction while this is going on and she'll teleport in that direction instantly for a long distance. If she goes through you then you'll take an unnoticeable 1% with no knockback of any kind. A classic for Viki! This move has distance about equal to a full Pikachu double quick attack due to her talent at teleportation. However it can only be used to travel in straight lines. The First Spell of Viki's Blinking Rune.
2%- Coming close to her and getting hit by the aura.
1%- Going through someone.
Set!: Down B- Viki sneezes and junk rains from the sky quickly in the surrounding area around her. Charging this up results in a wider range and more junk. Damage is variable depending on what hits you. Little knockback but can hit many, many times. Try not to get caught in it as if you get bogged down by Chair Legs and then a Piano hits you it could be the end! The Second Spell from Viki's Blinking Rune.
6%- Chair falling from the sky. Occasionally this will break apart into chair legs which can be used as clubs or thrown for 7% and decent knockback.
3%- Chair leg falling from the sky. The most common one, these cannot be picked up. However they have a fast falling speed and can absorb a few hits.
10%- Table! Look out below! Getting hit by this could be devastating considering it can spike you! Second rarest.
15%- Piano! Slow, so get out of the way while you can! If this hits you or the ground it will break apart and stay as an obstacle to be jumped over until destroyed or 20 seconds has passed. Rarest.
5%-10%- Urn! Watch out, it could hold explosives that have big knockback! Relatively common compared to the Table and Piano but the explosive urns are rare.
5-7%- Turnip! Peach's signature weapon suddenly falls from the sky. If pops back into the air so catch it if you can! Unfortunately no Super-Turnips appear. The only faces that will appear on these turnips are smiley faces. Why? Because Viki is always happy!
1-3%- Cuckoo! Uh oh, chickens from the sky! While they don't do much when they fall on you, watch out if you hit them! They'll chase after you and heckle you until you hit them hard enough.
C. Final Smash/Miscellaneous
Final Smash- Ready, Set, Go!
The Blinking Rune on her forehead and wind swirls around her as time stops temporarily. She then proceeds to teleport them into an alternate dimension, unseen, where you hear them all give screams as if they were K.O'd. When they return to their original positions they have 30% damage and are stunned for three full seconds. This cannot be reduced. This is a near guaranteed lead in to her aerial game or simply holds them in a place where she can finish them off! God help them, wherever they went. It sounded painful.
Miscellaneous- Because I was too lazy to put them elsewhere.
Magic Shield: Shield- Viki holds her staff close and her shield appears. Her shield is actually quite good, covering her entire body. Your standard shield in all dues with no unique properties.
Oopsies!: Roll- Due to Viki's... natural balance issues, it's more like a tumble. However it works very well for what it does and you have a good amount of invincibility frames while doing this, just like any other character. It goes for a good distance quickly. The animation humorously shows her tripping over herself.
I'll Be Right Back!: Spot Dodge- Viki has a unique spot dodge in that instead of invincibility frames she sneezes and teleports and then reappears where she was originally standing. Allows large moves to pass right through where she was standing! If an opponent is in the location she was when she returns, and she does so very quickly, they take no damage but are knocked down.
Missed Me!: Air Dodge- Viki teleports herself a short distance to the side with invincibility frames covering that small journey. Unpredictable for your opponents, it can be hard to track her unless you are playing her. Goes for an excellent distance.
Jump Type- Vikis jump is an odd thing. Her first one she jumps up for a good distance. During her second jump a small magical platform appears underneath her and she pops up from it even higher! This all occurs within very few frames meaning she can Double Jump Cancel to her powerful aerials very well.
Teleport Cancel- When Viki is in the air you can hit ^+Jump QUICKLY after your second jump. Viki will be kept in the air on her tiny little magic platform and can quickly perform aerials with zero lag from this platform. She may stay on it for a bit of time, but try not to overdo it or she'll fall to the ground in a tumbling animation. Time limit is about 10 seconds, more then enough to create chains.
Teleport Cancel Slide- When Viki is on her TCP (Teleport Cancel Platform) she can teleport in any direction for about a quarter of the distance of her B^ by releasing the Jump button while slamming the movement stick in the direction you wish to go. Why is this helpful? Because it means Viki can create strings of aerials and then suddenly warp away instead of falling to the ground where you'll be waiting for her.
Teleport Cancel B- While on the TCP, you may use her B moves with alarming speed. Imagine firing a quick B and then rushing out while they're occupied to hit them with a B>, crippling and killing them over a ledge. Ouch.
Grabs- She loves you...not. Viki has a powerful grab game.
<3!: Initial Grab- Viki stumbles foward slightly and latches onto an opponent by their arm and holds them close. Awww. I don't think it's a cute date she wants though. She's out for blood!
Viki has a good selection of throws that can be used as finishers or launchers.
Excuse Me!: A- Viki sneezes and accidently headbutts them. Unremarkable damage and no knockback but makes for a good damage builder before you use a powerful throw of hers. 3-4%
Go Away!: Up Throw- Viki magically levitates them and spins them around before hurling them upwards in a burst of magic, similar to Mewtwo. Unlike him this is fairly fast but retains the quality of an excellent upwards finisher. Easily interruptable in multiplayer matches however, so use sparingly. 8-10%
Prism Bolt: Foward Throw- Viki stabs them in the stomach with her staff and pushes them away from her with a bolt of lightning. Bad knockback but heavy damage. Due to the lightning being shot during the grab it is impossible to dodge it. However this bolt CAN hit other people for less damage, weakening along the length the farther you go. Once you are pushed for about 7% you can DI out of the lightning stream. 5-15%
Accidents Happen: Back Throw- Viki proceeds to trip over her own feet and fall backwards, accidentally suplexing her hapless victim, bouncing them in the air. Excellent for starting aerial chains and for quickly ridding yourself of an opponent who is attacking you. The lag at the end is nonexistent, allowing for quick tech chases. 10%
Head over Heels: Down Throw- Viki sneezes and comically teleports them headfirst into the ground. At higher percentages this works like Donkey Kongs headbutt and makes them stuck. Otherwise they'll bounce into the air fairly high, making it horrible for chain grabs but another excellent aerial chain starter. 10%
Taunts- Behind those adorable green eyes and ditzy demeanor lies the cold, cruel heart of a fighter. She mocks you from afar.
1- Viki falls asleep standing up (A certain talent of hers in the series) and mumbles her trademark phrase "Waffu... Reffu...". This all happens very quickly but should only be used when the opponent has been knocked out. Otherwise you'll taste a heavy attack from them.
2- Viki looks straight at the camera and says "Oopsies!".
3- A bird lands on her head and she smiles at the camera.
4- Viki's stomach grumbles and she holds saying "I missed a meal again...".
Entrance: Viki teleports onto the screen, looks around confused and then sighs as if to say- "Here we go again...".
Victory Poses-
1- Same as her first taunt. She's asleep, says "Waffu...Reffu..." then opens her eyes slowly and shakes her head.
2- Leaning on her staff she looks around confused and says: "Oh, I won?".
3- A portal appears and she falls out of it flat on her face. She looks up sheepishly and says "Oops!".
4- Viki disappears after sneezing as the announcer says: "Winner...!...Viki?"
Credit to Darkfur for the 4th Victory Pose.
Analysis-
Viki is a powerful character but not overwhelming. She has speed, range and power with several disjointed hitboxes and swift, punishing attacks. This is further added to by her usage of a unique projectile, a strong recovery and her ability to DJC due to her Ness-like jumps. Her weaknesses are her floaty weight, allowing for stronger characters to K.O her if she is not played with perfect precision. However this can be partially offsetted by her strong spot and air dodge, good roll and proper shielding.
Pros: She's made of pure perfection in the air and greatness in the grabs. Unstoppable.
Cons: She's full of holes in the ground. Stick to the air game- You can beat anyone up there.
Ranking: Air Game: #1-2 Ground Game: #10-20 Grab Game- #3-10
Ground Game-
Viki's ground game is fairly decent. Don't expect to outpace any melee oriented characters but with patience, spacing and good reflexes it becomes a fearsome lead to her amazing air game. Her advantages include many launchers into her flexible and powerful aerial game and a few good finishers. Her disadvantages include bits of lag, a few bad hitboxes and the fact that anyone with proper disjointed hitboxes and skill can have a field day against you.
Pros: Many launchers, strong tilts, powerful hits and flexibility.
Cons: Laggy, range is not up to top notch like air game, smashes are hard to abuse.
Aerial Game-
Viki's aerial game is top notch. If you understand that her ground game is decent in the top twenty, her aerial game is in the top three for sure. With strong launchers leading into her devastating combos and strong finishers you can rest assured that your opponent will feel the pain. Nearly all of her aerials have good damage and some have little knockback but decent air stun and all of them have excellent range with deceptive hitboxes and fast execution. Her air games advantages are the fact that she can easily combo, that there is nonexistent lag for almost all of them, that they have amazing range and deceptive hitboxes and that damage can be racked up quickly.
Pros: TWO Spikes, incredible disjointed hitboxes, amazing damage, easy and powerful combos, huge damage, great range and overwhelming priority.
Cons: There are CONS to her air game???
Grab Game-
Viki's grab game is fairly good with several launchers to lead into the crux of her play. If I haven't dropped enough hints this means that it leads into her aerial game. Her down throw is a terror for high percentages if you don't want to finish them off with an up throw. Did I drop enough hints? Her back throw will most definitely lead into her devastating air game.
Pros: Launchers and good power. Front throw can hit multiple opponents while Up throw can finish off people. Great grabbing range.
Cons: All the cons of a grab- Missed grabs mean lag time, writhing out of a grab means an easy tilt, etc.
Stage- Magical World
Step into her world... Tread softly.
Viki's homeland, the Magical World is an odd place. While there is one solid platform of magical energy, platforms appear and disappear at random above it. Formations of it could shift from Final Destination to Battlefield to Jungle Japes to Pokemon Stadium (Neutral) (Platform-wise). Occasionally a small portal will open on the ground- Stepping on it will result in being teleported upwards with you still having your second jump and abilities. Use this to your advantage! Spamming projectiles and then suddenly stepping on it or using it to buy time are good ideas! Visually it is beautiful but try not to stare at it too much! Viki will defend her homeland vicariously.
Below- Forms that her Stage can take. NOTE- The stages will be replicated completely and for exactly one minute and thirty seconds. Afterwards it will shift back to the original for the same period of time.
Music- Because even teleportresses love music.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=QyraacvOIX0
This song will be playing when you obtain Viki, as she apologizes and joins your side.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=GFWrzvVmNOw
This song is from Suikoden V and it's just good enough that it deserves to be included.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Edemrc7eCeY
This song is playing during Viki's stage, Magical World, as it is just plain awesome.
Note- Yes that is Final Fantasy and not Suikoden. Says something about how FF has to take Suikodens music >.>.
Assist Trophy- Little Viki Because one wasn't enough.
That's right, it's Little Viki from Suikoden 3! Little Viki teleports in calmly, quite contrary to her older self and waves her hand, creating a bubble where anyone who is caught finds themselves suddenly slamming into the ground up to five times, dealing 5% damage each time. The closer you are the more times you get slammed. At higher percentages this can work like Vikis down throw, sticking them in the ground.
Trivia: Little Viki appears in Suikoden 3 much like Viki. However she is the almost antithesis of Viki, being highly intelligent (not to say Viki isn't), completely in control of her Blinking Rune and highly confident and composed.
The Subspace Emmisary
Within the Subspace Emmisary, time is leaking through the seams of the universe. Hotspots merge and jump years ahead of time, while other areas languish in one period for years at a time. Viki, a guardian of time, returns from her latest mishap adventure and visits Leknaat. After visiting Leknaat she learns of an evil growing within the Smash Universe. She sets out to correct the timestream by herself. Unfortunately...
The Subspace Emmisary Boss... Viki!?
That's right, Viki is a Subspace Emmisary Boss. Why? She sets out with goodhearted intentions to correct the timestream. The reason why it has been disrupted is due to Kirby and Mario, so she sets out to defeat them. However, after losing in combat to you, she joins your forces upon learning the truth and changes her goals to defeating the Primians and getting to enjoy the victory feast without teleporting away.
Tips:
-Stay on the ground.
Item- Blinking Mirror The fabled mirror of return...
In Suikoden, the Blinking Mirror was an asset that many a player would sigh with relief upon obtaining. It allowed you to teleport straight back to your castle from anywhere, upon which Viki could teleport you to another place, repeat ad nausem. In Brawl however...
It creates a reflection of you! That's right, the Blinking Mirror pulls an alternate timeline version that looks exactly like you! This clone has 50 HP ala Stamina Mode and can only use your A Attacks, but is a major asset. Run for that mirror or risk being double-teamed!
Alternate Costumes-
Suikoden 5- Her default costume is the one from Suikoden Five.

Suikoden 4- Her second costume is from the Fourth game.

IV- Why she deserves a Brawl position.
In truth there may be nothing running for Viki. She's just one of those wacky, weird characters that you'd love to see in Brawl. Against her is that she is owned by Konami in one of their best series, that she is obscure and unknown by the majority of others and that she simply isn't the best choice ever. Running for her is that she has appeared in every single Suikoden game to date, is a fun and innovating character, is simply cute and appealing and that she can put a serious hurting on someone.
V- Conclusion.
In conclusion please post your thoughts but don't flame. There are over three hundred views, a good amount, but next to no feedback. Thank you Fawriel, Darkfur and all other feedback givers! Remember: This is what happens when you mess with Viki.
