This would be where you post strategies for Pokemon battles, whether it be Single or Double battles. Periodically, I will edit this page to have all strategies posted here. Examples would be pokemon pairs or 2-move strategies. Explain how it would work if it's original.

No. 1 - Electivire + Magnezone (Double Battles)
Electivire's ability allows it to gain Speed Boosts when hit by an Electric attack. Magnezone helps here by trapping and getting rid of Skarmory with DISCHARGE, also adding Speed to Electivire. But, Magnezone should have Magnet Rise, HP Grass, Discharge, and Reflect/Light Screen/Screech to fully help Electivire. This is great if you like Electric types.

No. 2 - Typhlosion + Heatran (Double Battles)
Heatran likes getting hit by Fire attacks. Typhlosion helps here with a powerful Lava Plume, also having a high chance of burning the opponents. Heatran should not have EQ with this strategy, nor should it have Explosion. It should use it's standard EVs and nature, but the moves should be Overheat (for Blissey), Flamethrower, Land Power, and Dragon Pulse.
Typhlosion should have Focus Blast, Lava Plume, Sunny Day, and Solarbeam. Sunny Day also helps here to power up both Typhlosion and Heatran, and making Sunnybeaming possible. Entei can do the same for Heatran, but needs HP Ice. This is great for Fire-lovers.

No. 3 - Gengar (Singles and Doubles)
Gengar was a great pokemon when it got Levitate. And Gengar also abuses this in Double Battles. Gengar's immunities to Ground, Fighting and Normal allow it to freely attack while it's partner Explodes or Earthquakes. Mismagius and Shedinja can also pull this off. Gengar can also kill Specsmence's most hated counters; Blissey and Empoleon. Genagr kills Blissey with Explosion as long as it has a Life Orb and it has 128 Att EVs and takes down Empoleon with Thunderbolt. That way, Salamence can rampage through your opponent.

No. 4 - Gyarados + Electivire (Singles)
Not much explanation here. Gyarados weak to Thunderbolt. Gyarados switch to Electivire. Electivire gets a Speed boost from Motor Drive. Electivire kills almost everything.

No. 5 - Salamence + Gyarados (Doubles)
These two were made for each other. Double Intimidate, double EQ, double ownage. But this strategy dies to Froslass and Starmie

No. 6 - Jumpluff + Charizard (Singles)
Jumpluff makes a rather extraordinary set up for Charizard. Leech Seed, then Sleep Powder, then Memento to buy time for Charizard to set up his Belly Drum, SubSalac, and watch him go.

No. 7 - Floatzel + Electivire (Singles)
I haven't even heard of this until ss118 mentioned it. Floatzel is one of the new Baton Passers of DP, and it's weak to electric. So who to pass it's Bulk Up's to other than Electivire! Not only does it get Bulk Ups, but it will also get a speed boost! All this for only 1-2 slots of your competitive team!

No. 8 - Roserade + Manaphy
This may not work too well, but it's thought out. Manaphy and Roserade can use Rain Dance effeciently, as Roserade can use Weather Ball and Manaphy is Uber due to it and Tail Glow.

No. 9 - Ninjask (In general)
Ninjask is the best Bper's in the game. And it helps every physical sweeper. A sub, speed, and maybe a swords dance can really help the slower pokemon such as Rampardos and Rhyperior, and makes other pokemon more deadly than there supposed to be. Any physical sweeper benefits rom this little bugger. But, like most bugs, birds like to ruin their little lives. This would be Skarmory. Beforehand, use a Magnezone to scout for and kill the metal bird.

No. 10 - Spikers + Pseudo-hazers (Pokemon with Roar/Whirlwind)/Anti-Spinner(Ghost)
Spikers and Stealth Rockers, such as Skarmory, can have their day ruined when a Rapid Spinner comes in. But, this will be less likely to happen if you have a Pseudo-Hazer (like Donphan w/Roar) or an Anti-spinner (Dusknoir).

No. 11 - Skarmory + Blissey (Singles)
More likely known as SkarmBliss, these two are one of the best at their game. They also cover each other weaknesses due to their massive defensive stats. But, this can backfire when there's that Electivire runnung Thunderbolt.

No. 12 - Lopunny + Breloom (Doubles)
Thanks to IloveCelebi!!208, we have this strategy. Breloom should have a Choice Scarf when doing this. Breloom spores quickly, then Lopunny will Switcheroo with Breloom, giving it a Toxic Orb. Then they both do what they normally do.

No. 13 - Toxicroak + any Water-type (Doubles)
Toxicroak gets healed by Water attacks, and any Water-type would be using a Water attck like Surf. This would heal Toxicroak and hurt everyone else.

Heck, you'll probably be seeing me here a lot, I have SOOO many strategies. I haven't tried doubles, yet, so all my contributions will be in singles.
Gengar with a Life Orb and enough ak EVs to kill blissey with explosion works great with Specsmence. Usually, if they use a Blissey, they're lacking any other special wall, and with good reason. So just explode on it and use Specsmence whenever possible. 1 Draco Meteor should equal 1 KO, if not 2HKO.
Also, Jumpluff with Sleep Powder, mamento and leech seed works great with bellyzard. Helps to set it up for a sweep, especially with healing from leech seed.

Obvious combos:

Salamence + Gyarados (doubles): double intimidate, double earthquake. Cripples any enemy physical sweeper right off the bat, as well as wrecking the opponent with dual earthquakes.

Gyarados + Electivire (singles): Gyarados draws out electric attacks, electivire gets his badly needed speed boost.

Changed font as well as color because to other people, it was hard to read. Hopefully, it's easier to read.

This is for Single Battles and Double Battles, but it's easier to come up with strategies for doubles.

I'll also edit the main part of this in a few minutes.

I'd like to see more strategies fir singles!
Your wish is my command!
I used to run a BL team. It began with an Agility-BPing Scizor. I would then proceed to eithe BP it to my Mr. Mime, if I felt they would try to roar me out, who would trick, set up a reflect, and Calm Mind. If I saw a Fire attack coming, I can switch to arcanine. Mine was a Mixed sweeper that abused Howl along with CM's and Physical and special attacks. It worked particularyly well.
I'll have more, I just have to remember them!
Forretress, in OU, can switch into Heatran to take Fire attacks.

Anybody heard of GrowthTran?

Tangrowth sets up Sunny Day and can outspeed (thanks to Chlorophyll) and annoy with a fast Sleep Powder. Thanks to the sun, Morning Sun restores 2/3 of it's health, making it a hardy physical wall.

Then, Heatran can switch in and eat Fire attacks, since Tangrowth is weak to them and Sunny Day increases the power of Fire attacks, so the opponent would mosty likely use one. Dude, a Choice Specs (or Scarf) Overheat with Flash Fire activated and with the sun out will do massive damage. Tangrowth and Heatran also cover each other's weaknesses except for Heatran's weakness to Fighting.

Until wii meet again,

How about this?

DOUBLES: Roserade+Manaphy
Manaphy uses Rain Dance, whuch cures all status on it. Rose gets the 50% off Fire attacks and supports w/Weather Ball Water. W/Natural Cure it also gets rid of status effects. Manaphy also rids Roses weakness to Flying w/Ice Beam.
It doesn't seem like too good of a combo...but it works.

Stop posting Kaddy if u never say anything important. Seriously, its getting annoying.
Anyway, Ninjask and Marowak needs a mention. So does Ninjask and Focus Sash Ramparados, assuming ur opponent doesn't start with a Swampert.

Spiker + Psuedo Phazer (+Antispinner) deserves to be mentioned.

Also, you should add Magnezone to Ninjask. Skarmory is a huge threat for Ninjask Baton Passing, and is the most common psuedo phazer ingame.
This combination did work better in RSE, when Skarmory didn't have any Shed Shell to work with. But still, a lot likes to give Skarmory Leftovers insted. When the pokémon which is supposed to handle stat up is gone, it makes things really easy for Ninjask, since a team normally won't waste a team space for another phazer.

Lol, where is "SkarmBliss"? The most populair and successful strategy ever made. Not only do they fill a some important roles for your team, but they also fill each others biggest weaknesses perfectly, thanks to their huge defensive stats..

I was thinking of a very non-orthodox Snorlax set the other day...

Snorlax can learn block, belly drum, and whirlwind, which are not on any of the normal Snorlax sets. Do you think it's possible to create a set where by chance Snorlax becomes a physical sweeper with a ton of hp/def?

Toxicroak + Azumaril (Doubles)

Azumaril should have Aqua Jet and Croak should have Dry Skin and a Sash, use Swords Dance, and have Azumaril AJ Croak's hp back while it sweeps.

CS Entei + CSPS Heatran (Doubles)
Entei should have HP Ice and Lava Pume, guess the steps needed to take.

Lopunny + CS Breloom (Doubles)
A WTF?LOL! Strategy, Use Switcheroo Punny w/Cute Charm, Lopi should hold a Toxic Orb while Breloom holds a CS, Breloom uses Spore on the opponent who will be a threat, Lopi switches items with Breloom, Lopi'll then switch items w/One of the opponents since the CS'll make her run a 450+ speed. Sub on Breloom, then, sweep.
