Please STOP posting things about Vesperview! Cinder and others are trying to get this thread back on topic and you fighting with Vesper is NOT going to help. You want to get back on topic too apparently so if you don't like what he's saying, don't reply. Everyone just needs to calm down...

No problem...and I was actually wondering the same thing...I've got one move idea, assuming he only has the scissors (which could still make for a sweet moveset
)U-smash: opens scissors, holds the scissors, still spread, upwards, and thrusts upwards...good range and knockback...and as a side note, it would be the anti-MK/Pit...ruins aerial assualts...

MarthTrinity sorry for not quoting you but let me tell you that the reason I believe Scissorman desrves to be in Brawl is because he is such an icon for survival horror games, it was thanks to Clock Tower that we have now games like Resident Evil, Silent Hill and some others; but because Clock Tower was not released outside of Japan at the very start; some don't see it that way, and believe that Resident Evil was the one that started the whole horror gaming in Japan. Not to mention that the game was very innovative for the Super Famicom. A problem now is that since Capcom owns the rights to Clock Tower; Bobby has to compete with the more popular Mega Man and Resident Evil. I would prefer to have Mega Man over Scissorman for Brawl, but Scissorman deserves some recognition. As for a moveset, I am not sure, guess he could swing his scissors as a sword for normal attacks, but I can see for his Final Smash, calling in his gigantic larva like younger brother Dan for help, by crushing everyone on the screen.

How can you tell if people are more intelligent or not? Do you have some quality ISO standards or something? I know Scissorman by now has no chance, much less since he competes with Mega Man to be in Brawl; but I really had to let this out of my mind, that is at least try and go out with a fight than don't trying it at all. Or do you prefer to people to give up? Sadly I am growing up, I can't help it and you are the one who should stop bit.ching.

Btw...I too realize Scissorman's chances are practically nil, but as said before, he would be pretty cool...if I woke up tomorrow and the Dojo update was "New Challengers Approaching: Megaman AND Scissorman", the first words out of my mouth would be "OMG EPIC!!"...I would seriously use Scissorman if he were in, but alas, Megaman has priority (don't get me wrong, MM supporters, I want MM too

the whole reason this flame war started is that you mentioned vesper in the first post. why that is just stupid. the reason i think vesper is intelligent is because he does not make crappy threads like these and he doesn't say stupid things that you said in the first post of a thread you want people to take seriously... its not the way to do it. no one is taking it seriously. D-Smash: closes scissors, and stabs them into the ground...similar to Ike's Eruption, but no instant KO...that, and no fire...

I'm sorry if it seemed like I was defending any one person, I myself have had some very unlikely character suggestions and I hate to see those threads die (like my Django one did T_T). That's the only reason I kept telling people to ignore it, I didn't want a flame war to happen and have this thread locked. To a degree I support him, being able to say what he pleases, but I also agree with what you're saying about how he shouldn't be so harsh. So yeah, my apologies.
On topic: I can see how he'd beat Resi characters in terms of being one of the original icons of the survival horror series, but in Smash popularity also comes into play. I wouldn't be unhappy to see Scissorman in Brawl (because hey, he'd be one of the ultimate "WTF?!" characters) but if he's not I won't lose any sleep.

On topic: I'm going to work on a FULL moveset...give me ten-fifteen minutes, and I'll have it up...
So I am not very intelligent hey, do you even know me? If anything vesper's threads look better is because I admit he is better with detail; not to mention that there is hardly plenty of info on Scissorman; not to mention that I learn via the cognitive way, not constructivism like you and your little bfriend. I am not saying stupid things, just not very well detailed. Also you are not right with everything; you girl want to sound like if everything is like you think things should be. You also need to grow up, and if you are such an intelligent person, then give me eternal childhood.

F-tilt: hammer slash (makes slashing motion)
U-tilt: arc slash
D-tilt: foot swipe
F-smash: Thrust and open (thrusts scissors forward and opens them...multiple hitboxes)
U-smash: thrust (the one I mentioned earlier)
D-smash: ground stab (from earlier)
N-air: spin
F-air: hammer slash (similar to F-tilt)
U-air: drill (stabs up then spins wildly)
B-air: Open-scissor back slash (opens scissors then slashes backwards)
D-air: Down stab and open (stabs downward (spike), then opens scissors (second hitbox...branches))

Man I give up on making a move list, your is better. The only idea is to have as Final Smash the summoning of Bobby's (Scissorman( younger but larger brother Dan as he would crush all opponents.

On topic. Another Final Smash I have in mind, is that Bobby could sneak quickly on everyone on screen while his theme music plays. Something similar as we see Snake doing to Ike in an infamous picture but quicker.
