I am making this thread, for support to have Scissorman in Brawl.
But who is Scissorman? Well he is the main antagonist of the videogame knwon as Clock Tower.
His real name is Bobby Barrows, and he appeared in the very first Clock Tower game for the Super Famicom in Japan. In this game you took control of a girl called Jennifer Simpson, as you walked through a mansion solving puzzles and running and hiding away from Scissorman who appears all of the sudden.
But why place Scissorman instead of Jennifer?
Well this is because that while you control Jennifer, Scissorman is the real star of the game as he is the icon. Also thanks to Clock Tower, it paved the way for horror survival games since it appeared before Resident Evil, the problem is that Clock Tower was not released outside of Japan, so it is not as known as its sequels (which hold a different continuity) outside of Japan.
Clock Tower is a classic which was born on a Nintendo console, that is a good reason why it deserves to be in Brawl, plus Scissorman deserves to represent more the horror game gener than someone from Resident Evil like Leon or Jill.
Problem is that Capcom now holds the rights for Clock Tower, and so if I had to choose between Mega Man and Scissorman I would pick the blue bomber (or someone more representative of Capcom like Ryu), but still Scissorman should be over anyone of Resident Evil as it needs to top origin over popularity.
Some say that Scissorman using his sicssors would not work on Brawl, but he could use them the same way as other characters use their swords, to hack and slash; I can also imagine him throing them and coming back like a boomerang. For his final smash, I can imagine his giant baby brother Dan Barrows coming over to the arena crushing everyone.
And so that is it for now, please don't come to flame since Vesperview said he would come to do so, and I know that at these heights he may not have a chance, but I had to stand uo and mention Scissorman; I had to try.
