Today they have announced that one of the new characters is a pokemon trainer. How do u fight with him u may ask? Well, the trainer is just on the sidelines, but he sends out POKEMON!!!! He has three choices: Charizard, Ivysaur, and my personal favorite, SQUIRTLE!!! There down-b will be to switch among the pokemon. When u switch pokemon the damage will carry over. This is the first "3 in 1" character and they made it so that they have "stamina". If you dont keep the pokemon in long enough or keep it in too long, there stamina will go down and i am assuming that they will perform worse. With that being established, the whole "3 in 1" character thing will be more interesting because to be truly good with this character, you will have to master all 3 pokemon. Are they going to make charizard the best, and just make the other people suck? Or will the other pokemon have their merits, and maybe even squirtle will end up being the most used. If charizard is the heaviest, and has the best recovery, will it become a trend to switch to him to recover as with sheik and zelda? Or maybe at higher damages you might switch to charizard to make sure that you dont get killed because of ivysaur an squirtle's low weight. Will there be a way to pick your starter? Maybe if u hit "a" you start as squirtle, "b" to start as ivysaur, and "x" to start as charizard. When you switch will it be extremely fast so that when you have used a pokemon too long and their stamina is low, could u switch at the last second. Will you get invincibilty frames? Or maybe, it will be slow, like the switch between zelda and sheik so that when you switch they will easily be able to start a huge combo on you? This thread will be for the discussion of such questions and more on the newest announced character, the pokemon trainer!!! I would call this the official thread, but i dont know what other people would say xD. If there is no problem with that, tell me, and i will take the quotes off of "official". Discuss, and if there are new announcements, post them here and i will edit the info about the pokemon trainer onto this post. Discuss...
