How does Classic Wario disconfirm Mario's alt? The way I see it, there is actually a chance for Dr. Mario as a costume for Mario now.

Mario's only green color is the one with the Brown overalls... the only new color they gave Mario was the Fire one... Mario's Dark Brown color is actually off of Foreman Spike's '98 look..

Yup.. like Sakurai said, "Wario ALONE is special".. He's the only one that will have an alt. costume...
aww dang u beat me to it.
Oh boy, if both Mario and Wario wear yellow and purple, how will people tell the difference. The difference is quite obvious actually. Wario is fat, and I mean big time fat.

the one when you get the red star
and they already have bowsers backflip slam from that game

I totally believe Doc has a chance (The level of chance I'm referring to is that of greater than Ridley but less than that of Krystal) to come in as an alt, they only reveled 4 alt costumes for Mario and if you include his original theres only 5 so the 6th costume could be Doc and maybe they'll do a few bonuses like they did for Wario (Here's hoping one of them is black)
The only issue is the obvious Mario Fireball issue and even the FLUDD to certain degree (but maybe you can overlook that) BUT If Mr.Sakurai cared enough in the first place to put him in Melee I'm pretty sure he's willin' to at least change the look of the fireball (Not the physics).
Also the new Dr.Mario Wiiware game isn't bad for Doc's chances either

I just now noticed that that white and brown pallet is Dr. Mario's colors.
