Pidgeot for Pokeball in Brawl

Pidgeot, whose original name in the English beta version of Pokémon Red and Blue was “Pidgeott”, is the fully grown and developed form of the Pidgey species evolution line. In the main Pokémon game series, a Pidgeot is only acquired when a Pidgeotto grows past experience level 36 and is evolved into a Pidgeot. Pidgeot are large, powerful birds admired for their glossy plumage and their battling ability. With their powerful chest muscles at work, Pidgeot can flap their wings fast enough to whip up gusts of winds to rival tornadoes. Pidgeot are very aerodynamic, capable of soaring to an altitude of 3300 feet and reaching speeds of up to Mach 2. Like Pidgeotto, Pidgeot feed on Magikarp by swooping from the sky and snatching them out of the water with their talons. Pidgeot appear very similar to Pidgeotto, so much so that one has been easily mistaken for the other, even by official sources. However, the feathers of Pidgeot’s crest are much longer. Reason he should be in

Would make a good Pokemon.
Would be very affective seeing as how he can fly.
Would be able to deal a lot of damage and knockback.
Really fast and strong.
If used right, he would be able to deal damage and maybe KO your opponet.

What he would do

When Pidgeot is called, he'll swoop down and hit his opponet, after that he'll make a whirlwind and will be able to deal some knockback and KO anyone with high enough %.

Sweet, Pidgeot owns. Screw Starapter and Swellow. I love that Pokemon, it would be nice to see him in the game blowing gust of wind at opponites.

Instead of doing Whirlwind, how about he does Aerial Ace. It's a better move and Pidgeot is the most awesome flying type pokemon.

Thanks, I like those both but they won't ever beat Pidgeot.

All of those 'reasons' are quite redundant and have little depth to them. You could summarize them all into "Pidgeot rocks", and say that about many Pokémon. Try to convince me, dammit.

Fine, I'll try to sway you to like Pidgeot.

1. This pokemon should be in Brawl as a pokeball because it's a Kanto original.
2. The many rainbow colors on it's feathers have always been why I like it so much.
3. It's previous forms Pidgey and Pidgeotto make it litterally a starter. I'm sure all of you in the original pokemon Red & Blue had this bad boy in your party to go against the Elite Four.
4. Flying at Mach 2 automatically makes him a bad@ss.

Hope you were convinced!

Well, Pidgeot is one of many sweet Pokemon, so I guess I give him a shout out.

The effect that he does is good. But I don't know. Possible, we don't know which ones that Sakurai will throw in those lil balls.

I personally think he should unleash a FeatherStorm Barrage! Equilvalent to Whirlwind only with feathers in it.

Either that or a soaring Sky Attack ftw!

Well that's getting better. But if you want a powerful bird with rainbow colors, there's Ho-oh too.

Ha ha! Ya see, I knew you'd be convinced! What can I say, I guess I'm just your best everyday used pokemon salesman! Heh.

And Ho-oh will be coming back. Hey, if Entei, Suicine, and Raikou both made it, then you know good and well the creator of the Legendary Dogs, Ho-oh, will be coming back better than ever.

Pidgeot is immense. If he were a pokeball pokemon then this game would become officially flawless.

No you didn't convince me, I just said your arguments were improving.

And just so you know, Ho-oh is already confirmed, and likely the same as it was in Melee. Have you checked the Dojo recently? And you used the word 'both' to describe three things...

Constantly keeping me on my toes eh D.Paladin? Sheesh, cut me some slack.:ohwell:

Yeah I do, but I only really pay attention to Wifi stuff and new character confirmations.
