The Nintendo Trail... 2

I saw this on another thread and wanted to bring it back to life.
This is kind of like the Oregon Trail but with Nintendo.

Spoiler: How it Works

Each person will pick 1 character from any Nintendo game. They will also pick 4 items for the character to take with them. Ex: if the character was Link then you could bring
Heart Container(2)
Boomerang
Sword
Shield
You can't bring too many of each item( you have to be reasonable)

The team will start out in a town with a few shops. You can buy & make items

Every situation that arises will be controlled by the host(me). There will be many different events that happen on the trail.

Also, never control the results of your own actions. The host will decide the results of your actions. [/SPOILER/]

There will also be many status conditions( which are how you die) but I'll explain them when they come up.

This will start on either Tuesday or Wednesday (depending on how many people join)

Time to go on another trail.

Since Chrom's pre-occupied on the other trail, I'll instead use Little Mac as my character.

Pink Hoodie/Sweats: In case of colder nights
Chocolate bars: x5
Giga Mac Juice: x2 (Enables Giga Mac transformation for a short period of time)
Headgear: Mac puts this on when dealing with stronger foes in order to take less damage.

Thinking of Punch-Out!! related items is hard.

Though im debating between choosing Toon link for his smaller size and more interesting equipment optioms, or twilight princess link for his ability to turn into wolf link and switch between the two

Link (twilight princess edition)

Sword (master or ordon, don't think it matters): primary use for self defense, also makes a good bushwacker
Hylian shield: main defense, hard to break, and could have improv uses with imagination
Shadow crystal: main reason i'm going for tp version, allows switching to wolf link and back, who has the wonderful extra sense (along with his characteristics) in exchange for not being able to use items
Bow (+20 arrows): the most practical of the equipment options, use for hunting and long range. Think 20 arrows is a fair start

Thoron, magic tome that blasts a stream of lighting at a target, probably not the most conventional tome, but i figure i can just buy some more practical ones
Concoction (or an elixir if i'm allowed) x3, healing stuff~

in the games an elixir heals full health, but an concoction only heals 20 (about 1/4 of max)

Status Conditions

Burn- Significantly decreases fighting ability and movement speed
How to obtain- Being hit by a flame-based attack
How to cure- Status-healing items, time, certain wild flowers

Freeze- A condition where you are frozen and cannot move. Can cause frostbite and death if frozen for prolonged periods of time
How to obtain- Ice-based attacks, cold weather
How to cure- Heat, status-healing items.

Paralysis- The player cannot move. They can talk, however.
How to obtain- Various plants, electric attacks, additional effects of some poisons
How to cure- Status-healing items, time

Poison- The player will die in two days if not cured. Slightly decreases fighting ability and movement speed. Symptoms are not immediate
How to obtain- Various poison-wielding creatures, various wild foods
How to cure- Status-healing items, various wild foods

Confusion- The player becomes unable to fully control their actions. May attack teammates. Wears off quickly
How to obtain- Various attacks, being dizzy, various plants
How to cure- Time, status-healing items

Starvation- Occurs after not eating enough food. Eventually fatal
How to obtain- Not eating
How to cure- Eating

Dehydration- Occurs after not drinking enough water. Eventually fatal
How to obtain- Not drinking
How to cure- Drinking

Eggplant- Player becomes blinded and cannot attack
How to obtain- Various creatures
How to cure- Status-healing items

Tiredness- Significantly decreases fighting ability and movement speed. Slowly worsens

Godmodding
Never use godmodding. The mod(s) will only use it against you and it almost guarantees something bad to happen to your character. This is an example of godmodding:

Here is a scenario:

User A didn't read the rules.
User B is a pro.


User A:
My character marches into the forest and then comes out with 100000000 MILLION BAJILLION INFINITY FOOD SO WE NEVER DIE OF STARVATION

User B:
My character enters the woods in hopes of finding materials for the team to use for later. He braces himself, and after a bit of hesitation he enters.

Now, the mod knows what to do here. User A is doing it completely wrong, and User B is being completely fair.

Here's his response.

Mod:
User A has come back into camp with 10000000 MILLION BAJILLION FOOD! Great job!

Just as he walks to the camp... Suddenly a strange UFO arrives just above User A! It looks like they've been on a food search FOR DAYS. They immediately spot User A, who is holding a bunch of food!

They swiftly abduct User A, and fly away with him and his stash of food.

User A, you have been taken to alien territory, and in the process of going from land to space, your body was unable to handle the transition. You have DIED.

User B on the other hand, enters the forest, and he spots several apples on a tree! Will you take the apples?

Basically, don't decide the results of your actions. Don't say 'I punch Bowser Jr. and he dies'. Say 'I punch Bowser Jr.'

Also is it OP for Lifeup to be a general status healing power barring Starvation and Dehydration? If it is what's a better balance for it?
