Okay, I'm going to make some predictions.

Super Mario World is the only advertised game no included yet and I doubt it'll be added this week. We got a SNES game recently.

And we got another one with Super Mario Kart being this week's addition.

Super Mario Kart is a fun little soundtrack. I guess it had been some time since we had a Mario Kart soundtrack.

Super Mario Kart is timely given the Switch 2 reveal.

That makes me wonder how long will it take Switch 2 games to get their soundtracks on the app.

I guess tomorrow shouldn't be Super Mario World since we already got a SNES game last week. Maybe some GBA or 3DS games? I'd love to get more Fire Emblem.
Btw, do you think they'll soon announce a new batch of games like they did in October? We're close to the shareholders meeting and it's good to continue giving people reasons to renew NSO

Only negative is that from what I’ve observed, none of the songs can be extended.

I assume this is a Pokémon thing as the same thing happened with Scarlet and Violet.

I am surprised there isn’t anything new for the GBA yet after FE7.

I think the 3DS is the only notable console that doesn’t have any tracks since even the Wii U has a section despite being a redirect.

DS doesn’t have the hardcore titles yet. Mario 64 is included but the DS version having extra tracks could explain why it’s not a redirect.

Curiously, it was specified that Legends Arceus was added to commemorate the third anniversary. I wonder if we can expect more anniversary titles, might be worth looking into

That aside, I was going to make a post taking back one positive that I had said in the past. But Legends: Arceus being here... means my complaint no longer exists. I'll explain if people want me to, but I'll just say I'm pretty satisfied.

The selection of titles chosen is... surprisingly diverse. Usually when Nintendo does something like this, you get your EAD franchises like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and Splatoon and that's usually it. But with this app, they've already shown willingness to work with other companies to bring more soundtracks. HAL is allowing Kirby to be used. Intelligent Systems is allowing Fire Emblem to be used. And perhaps most surprisingly of all, Game Freak and the Pokémon Company are allowing Pokémon to be used. I'm pleasantly surprised. Can we expect other franchises like Monolith Soft's Xenoblade to be included? Perhaps some of their smaller titles that were made with help from other companies like Chibi-Robo or Golden Sun? Time will only tell.

This is what I was going to talk about. In the beginning, I complimented the app on how it didn't just stick with EAD franchises. But then for so long we only got EAD franchises. Pokemon Legends is the first game since launch that is co-owned by another company

One fact is that it’s the first time that Gen 9 and PLA had their soundtracks released outside of Japan since they got released physically there almost a year ago.

Before Sword and Shield, they generally had a similar pattern but it’s released on iTunes instead. The only one prior that isn’t there is the Ultra games since they never got a soundtrack release. Gen 1-2 and Platinum/Emerald were released as bonus tracks.

I don't think there's any way to go back. They only last a while.

Maybe this week it'll be Super Mario World? Hopefully it'll also update with new games coming in the next few months. Tomorrow is the Nintendo shareholders meeting, so I wouldn't be surprised by a big update along those lines.
