Legend of Zelda The Magic Meter Thread! Likes, Dislikes and Thoughts

While reading the "What do you not like about TP thread" I remebered that one of the reasons my friend dose not like TP is "There was no magic meter in it." he says (and I agree) that the magic adds deapth to the game, and though It does add deapth in my opinon it, unless link is casting spells,it takes away realism (and I like the more realistic zelda's) example the magic eating lantern in Alttp that always annoyed me. So I looked around could not find a Magic Meter thread so I created one. Do you like or dislike the magic meter? Why? any other magic meter thoughts? If so post them here.

I can't really think of this as thread-worthy, but I was alright with the magic meter.

I find the magic meter to be annoying. I'm somewhat OCD, so when my stats aren't full, I have to do that before anything else. Having another meter is just annoying.

However, I love the things you can do with magic. I love Din's Fire, elemental arrows, so on and so on. It's really cool and it adds a bit more strategy into the game, requiring you to choose between quantity and quality, etc.
