Wishing Apex 2012 happened again.
Okay So I was snooping around some of the boards and saw that they have their own stage discussion. So I had the idea of making this for Luigi! As a player, you should know that in deciding which stage will best give you a advantage and a disadvantage to your opponent not to mention the difference between winning and losing a match.

The point of this thread is to discuss each stage's pros and cons, it's general description, and what to do when playing there, and discuss strategies for Luigi to specialize in since he fights differently whom his up against (Projectile or Close combat or Sword user).. After a day or 2 or a week (depends if I have free time or not) I'll post a summary of what we've discussed and set the next stage to discuss for next day or week. So away we go!

Day - 1 Final Destination

General description- Flat, has stage lips making it harder for others and yourself to recover if caught under.

When playing here- This is obviously not Luigi's best stage. Chaingrabs can be used across the stage. Projectiles can be spammed easily making it harder for Luigi to appraoch.

When fighting against :

Close combat users - Luigi has a slight advantage due to his tornado allowing him to move across the stage and catch anyone off guard. He could also control the stage and keep himself camping forceing others to approach him with his fireball. But beware of chaingrabs.

Long range users - Luigi is at a slight disadvantage because of projectiles, bombs and such, forcing him to approach differently and more carefully.

Sword users - Generally the same as close combat users but with more accurate spacing.

General Effectiveness= Slight Disadvantage, due to Long Range Users and he can't stay in the air as long because of lacking platforms.

Luigi on FD gives him a disadvantage against long range users; Lasers and Bombs and other magical moving things plus a flat field = Sad Weegee.

Close Combat Users, he has a slight advantage, because his Tornado allows him to move across the stage quickly and surprise anyone. Of course, it could go either way with some people *CoughMKCough* but overall he's got the upper hand against the close combat cast for the most part.

No real change from sword users, but I guess the lack of platforms help Luigi from not getting stabbed from below.

4/10.
