In teams the winners were brett and alex,
In singles the winner was brett or alex...

I think it was a great success for the norman ~~crew~~ ~~team~~ crew.
They won about $1,000 for Imagino-Land from their team win...
Me and wut? won about $250 for Imagino-Land for our team semi-final

josh and his choice of a lvl 9 cpu were eventually stricken down to the ground.
That lvl 9 ganon was a bad idea in the end... on fd.
But I can't lie, josh you're decent, even without IIG.

Good shiz to Dokkoise, I couldn't even get Zinth to one stock the last time I played him. Good to see Brett finally making an appearance also :psycho:

Bah, I wanted to see the entire placings, so I'd have a general idea of where all the newer smashers stand.

Meh, the brackets were kind of half-***** (no seeding), so results beyond the top three weren't entirely conclusive, though I have no idea of them anyway. A surprise upset did take place though, as Wut? defeated Plasman. I also learned that I have problems with nerves in tournament matches in which I'm not entirely sure of the outcome.

I think it also worth noting that Brett beat 2-1 me in the first round with his Falco (though I did forget about Dave's Stupid Rule and let him pick FD again, though it was still valid because I agreed to it). I wish that he would have used his Falco again in the loser's finals so I could have seen if I could have beaten it the second time, but he picked Falcon and Jiggs instead, which I beat. I must say, though, his Jigglypuff did not disappoint, though perhaps he's not as well-versed in rest combos as Sand-Trap and JesusFreak were.

Oh yeah, and Crackboom beat me at Green Greens with Kirby. That there is a Kirby stage, xD

I already mentioned that. I also mentioned Crackboom beating me at Dreamland with Kirby.

Though, I wouldn't have mentioned those games if I hadn't tried to record them. But, since I feel like kind of a prick anyway, I will mention that Brett pulled a sweet knee on my forward B with Fox and two-stocked my Marth with Captain Falcon in the last game we played, as well as more or less mopped the floor with my Fox and Sheik with his C. Falcon.

Good job on the vids, Bryan! I think we should make you official videographer for OHSNAP3. Very good quality for a camcorder-capture.

Which reminds me, everyone should bring VCRs if possible to OHSNAP3, that will make it much easier to gather match footage, as camcorders(mostly the people using them) tend to be a bit... unreliable. Bryan, what settings do you use on your camcorder? I still have occasional problems with 'black bar' syndrome on some of my recordings.

One last thing that I'll probably repost in the OHSNAP thread: Does anyone have pretty good Photoshop skills and access to a decent printer? I've got a cool idea for the tourney that will require those things... If you feel like helping, drop me a PM or catch me on AIM. (A PM is probably best, as I am hardly on AIM most of the time)

-I'd be honored for the position of official videographer ^^
-As for the black bar, find the "steady shot" setting in the menu of your camera and set it to "off." Props to Brett for discovering that, way back when.
-I consider my Photoshop skills to be passable (though Pablo has Paint skillz like no other... combine the two, and you'd get one insane result :o), and, as my dad works in the photography department of the Daily Oklahoman, we have access to many decent printers. And I don't feel like PMing

Ah, I see, well I don't want to give away the whole surprise, but I'm guessing it wouldn't be too hard for you to make something that looks like an award certificate, would you, Bryan? I've got some things cooking that I think will make this OHSNAP the best and most memorable one yet.

With so many of the guys that got us to where we are leaving, or already gone, I think a little recognition is in order for our community's more outstanding members... You'll see what I mean in just a little while... heh.
