Scrafty hails comes from Gen V and is quite popular amongst the other Pokemon from Black/White. His Moveset could be worked around Dark/Fighting types moves like Brick Break, Low/High Jump Kick, Crunch, and Payback.

I'm not quite sure of his chances as I don't see him anywhere near as requested as Zoroark and Victini, but I have seen quite a few people bring him up, that's something at least. He's certainly a lot more interesting to me than either of the two more likely candidates as well.

What are your thoughts, potential movesets, ideas, and opinions on Scrafty?

Con los terroristas!
WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB...

Anyway, these Pokémon threads always make me think on how awesome would it be if a Pokémon fighting game was made.
Same for Fire Emblem and Kid Icarus.

Frankly, Scrafty is one of those minor Pokemon who are more meant for the Poke Ball role. I'm not really counting on it being a playable.

@Sponge: May I suggest adding some more stuff onto the primary post?

Absolutely, I'm currently thinking of what more I can add.

Scrafty is one of the worst looking pokemon I have seen. Terrible design.

Same with your Andross design. :troll:

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it in the support thread. :p

My Andross design is a better looking pokemon.

Scrafty has a chance as a pokeball assist.

......................................................You have no idea how f***ing bad I would want this dude in Smash(he's my favorite Gen 5 poke!!!) but really he has the equivalent chance as Banjo-Kazooie at this point....which is to say no chance in bloody hell.

At the very least I hope he gets in as a Pokeball or playable in Type Wild(look it up) or something.

Hoodlum Pokemon? Pants below his waist? An orange hoodie? Now that's what I call some Unfortunate Implications.

Props for being a fellow Parappa fan. I'd love my home boy Scrafty playable, but his chances are low.

I didn't know he was actually called the hoodlum pokemon. Wow. Hilarious, yet still terrible design.

Out of curiosity, what design do you think is the worst or one of the worst in the 5th generation?
As one who is a fan of Gen 5, I an say that title goes to Cryogonal.

at least Trubbish and Garbador were literally intentionally made to look like crap, Cryogonal is just....whaa?

When it smiles like that before being eaten.
Well obviously you don't eat ice cream. What kind of person eats ice cream?

Anyone got a moveset idea for Scrafty?

Up B-Hi Jump Kick
Down B-Payback

I'll think of more later.

cool, slap the remaining 23 moves on there, and replace Stone Edge (random...) and you got a deal.

Edit @ people dissing 5th gen:

1st gen had Muk, clearly it is F-tier as an entire gen cus of that 1. Also, Grimer/Magneton/Dugtrio/Ditto(lazy)/etc. I could go on.

Scrafty should be a lethal joke character (kinda like Jiggly), if he gets in, that is (which he won't :troll:).

I think it would be cool if scrafty's attacks were based on a beat/ rhythm and as long as you keep with the rhythm he was able to go into combos and stuff. I dunno, something along t hose lines.

I read up on him. Pokedex mentions how they could spit acid out of there mouth. Maybe his B move could be toxic. Charges and fires like Squirtle's watergun. Except the animation is purple goo.

1.) Eats threw shields fast, but does now damage.

2.) Opponent is covered in the goo; more of the stream connects, the more covered he or she is. Attacks do 1-6 percent more on the drenched opponent until the goo drips off. This could help Scrafty's beat-down game.

I like the clumsy Scrafty that I glimpsed in the new Pokemon cartoons always tripping on his saggy pants. If tripping were to make a return, he should do it every time he tries to turn around.

I can see him being a sort of, what do the kids call it these days, "gangsta" as far as animations and moves are concerned. Spitting out Toxic like chewing tobacco and curb stomps. And falling pants.

But yeah, I'd bet on Poke Ball treatment.

Not that Scrafty is likely, but I like to consider all possibilities no matter how slim.

A good Final Smash could be Focus Blast, since it's among the most powerful Fighting-type moves. (And don't give me the argument that his Sp. Atk is low and that it wouldn't be fitting or strong enough! This is Smash and non-canon!)

Voltorb is awesome in a different way than you think.

He's not designed after a pokeball, he's designed after the treasure chests in the game. Which are represented as pokeballs.

He's based on the D&D Monster, the Mimic.
