The Homebrew Channel Apps Freezing

I have the homebrew channel 1.0.6. When I load an app, everything is fine. However, sometimes in mid-gameplay, the apps freeze. It's happening often. It's not my SD card because I tried using it on my friend's wii and it worked. Could anyone help me on this?
